There are several trail options available depending on your fitness level and how much time you want to spend going into the canyon. Make sure to pack lots of water since you'll be out there for hours. The heat can sneak up on you, so pace yourself and take breaks as needed. If you're interested in seeing the canyon from above, you can arrange a helicopter tour to get that aerial view. The whole day lets you really take in how massive and deep the canyon actually is, which photos don't quite capture.
