  The actual tour was very good. Good itinerary. Communication with Danny was excellent. He made all the changes I needed. Transport and tour guides always arrived on time. Hard to write here as I don't know what the next questions will be, so how much info I have to put in here. The one thing, I thought I was going on a tour with other people and a guide who travelled with the "group" all the way, but it was not like that. I was the only one on the tour and a different guide would meet me every day. Sometimes I would join group activities with other people who had booked the event, and some days I would be the only person. This got a bit lonely as I didn't have people to share the whole tour with.Show more

  Not a group tour. You being joined with different travellers every day. Personally we prefer to travel with the same people so we can make friends. Overall the tour was ok / fine but logistics could be improved. We came back to Hanoi and stayed overnight every time were other travellers after an excursion e.g. flown to Hoi An right away, it felt like legend is trying to make up more days to fill itinerary. The rooms we got were ok but the hotels chosen were little bit too far from town centres. Transport vans were good and comfortable however some seatbelts didn't work and one of our drivers fell asleep while driving, not good! Some activities didn't happen, I discovered by talking to local people that is because legend didn't pay for it. Timings were all over the place, drivers were late for pick ups and some very late unplanned come backs, which messed up our afternoon plans. Summarising we liked Vietnam, people are lovely, landscape beautiful and traffic is crazy but we would not travel with this operator again. Sorry!Show more
