Itinerary
- Day 1
Tenerife to San Sebastian de la Gomera
You'll arrive at Tenerife South Airport and head straight to Los Cristianos port for your ferry crossing to San Sebastian de la Gomera. Keep watch during the journey across the water since dolphins show up fairly often in these channels. Once you dock, your hotel is just a short walk from the port, so you can settle in and get your bearings before the hiking starts tomorrow.

Landmarks Garajonay National Park Teide - Day 2
San Sebastian de la Gomera - Hermigua Valley - Chipude
Day one kicks off with a walk through the Hermigua valley, passing through local houses, gardens, and those distinctive terraced fields. From there, you'll head into Garajonay National Park and start hiking through thick laurel forest where moss covers most of the tree trunks. The path climbs steeply upward, but once you reach the summit, you get views across to La Palma, El Hierro, and the Teide volcano. After that, you'll descend into Chipude to finish the day.

Chipude - El Cercado - Valle Gran Rey - Los Loros
Today crosses two barrancos and takes you through El Cercado, a village known for pottery. You'll reach Barranco de Valle Gran Rey with its terraced fields and palm groves spreading out below. Stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant in Las Hayas where you can try regional specialties. After eating, the trail continues through palm trees, junipers, heather, and laurel forest as you descend into the valley of Los Loros.

Vallehermoso - Chapel of Santa Clara - Coastal Bay
The landscape starts out partly arid as you begin a long gradual climb toward the Chapel of Santa Clara sitting high on a ridge. From 700 meters above sea level, the views stretch across all the mountain peaks and out to the ocean. The descent comes down a steep but well-maintained path that leads to a small coastal bay. From there, head back to Vallehermoso village to wrap up the day.

- Day 5
Vallehermoso - Garajonay National Park - Hermigua
You'll leave the valley via Las Rosas and head toward Garajonay National Park, stopping at the visitor center to learn more about the area. After that, descend into Barranco de Argoto and then ascend to the Chorillo viewpoint, which gives you excellent views down into the valley below. Keep climbing until you reach Hermigua, where the hike ends for the day.

Hermigua - Banana Groves - Southern Coast
Start with a short steep section, then the path opens into fruit-growing areas lined with banana groves under the sun. The landscape shifts quickly to sparse vegetation with a wider trail crossing past several gorges toward the blue sea. You'll walk across a carpet of succulents and cacti with great views of Tenerife and El Teide volcano standing tall in the distance.

Landmarks Teide - Day 7
La Gomera - Final Hike
After breakfast, you'll transfer to your starting point for the final day's hike. You can choose between two routes depending on your energy and interest. The first option starts at Las Casetas with a short ascent followed by a steep coastal passage. The longer route takes you through south-east coast landscape toward the Degollada de Peraza viewpoint. Either way, you'll finish your week of hiking with views that really cap off the experience.

San Sebastian de la Gomera to Tenerife South Airport
Finish with a Spanish breakfast, then head to the port in San Sebastian de la Gomera for your ferry ride back to Los Cristianos on Tenerife. From there, transfer to Tenerife South Airport where your hiking tour wraps up and you head home.
