The route follows the rugged northern coast from Hermigua past the Roque Blanco and Roque Cano formations, down through papaya and mango fields, and completes the GR131 trail with 1,025 meters of descent to San Sebastián. Daily walks range from 4 to 14.5 kilometers with moderate ascents up to 735 meters through pine forests, abandoned coastal settlements, and tropical botanical gardens.

Walk the Path of the Gods through Garajonay National Park's ancient laurel forests, where centuries-old trees create a tropical rainforest atmosphere 1,000m above sea level. Descend steep barrancos into the Hermigua valley's terraced fruit groves, then tackle the challenging 735m ascent to Santa Clara chapel with its 700m cliff-edge views. The route covers varied landscapes from arid cactus-covered coastal paths near El Teide viewpoint to the palm-filled Valle Gran Rey gorge.
