Itinerary
- Day 1
Tenerife to La Gomera
You'll fly into Tenerife South Airport and catch a bus to Los Cristianos port. From there, the Fred Olsen ferry takes about 50 minutes to reach San Sebastián de La Gomera. Once you arrive, a bus will transfer you to Hotel Jardin Tecina, which takes roughly 40 minutes. Important timing note: if your flight lands after 17:30, you'll miss the last ferry of the day and need to stay overnight in Tenerife before heading over the next morning.
- Day 2
La Gomera
Your ASI mountain guide meets you at 09:00 to start your first hike. You'll walk through the primeval laurel forest on an 8 km route with about 3 hours of actual hiking time. The elevation change is 350 meters up and 350 meters down, plus you'll spend roughly 1 hour traveling to and from the trailhead.

La Gomera
Today crosses the island through different landscape zones as you move between elevation levels. You'll hike through rocky terrain and gorges, passing by Roque Cano and the mountain lake La Encantadora. This 6.5 km day covers about 2 hours 50 minutes of walking, with 480 meters up and 230 meters down, plus around 2 hours 20 minutes of travel time to reach the starting point and return.

Landmarks Roque Cano La Encantadora - Day 4
La Gomera
Starting from Arure, the hike leads toward the coast with incredible views looking down into the Valle Gran Rey gorge. After hiking about 5 km in roughly 2 hours, you'll drive through Palmental to reach one of La Gomera's nicest beaches for a swim. The elevation gain is modest at 100 meters up and down, with about 2 hours 40 minutes of travel time included.

- Day 5
La Gomera
You'll explore two lovely bays starting in Hermigua with a coastal hike offering sea views the whole way. The route climbs through a green gorge up to Agulo, a village set beneath a 300-meter rock face with historic terraces. On clear days, Mount Teide on Tenerife comes into view across the water. The 5.5 km hike takes 2 hours 45 minutes, with 275 meters ascent and 150 meters descent, plus 2 hours 40 minutes travel time.

- Day 6
La Gomera
The coastal hike heads to La Guancha, one of the island's nicest bays, then returns with views toward Tenerife and Mount Teide visible across the strait. After finishing the 6 km hike (about 2 hours 30 minutes), you'll head to San Sebastián for a fish dinner at a local restaurant. You can then either swim or walk around town if you'd like. Total elevation change is minimal at 50 meters up and 220 meters down, with roughly 1 hour travel time.

Landmarks La Guancha 
- Day 7
La Gomera
You'll climb to Garajonay, La Gomera's highest mountain, ideally on a clear-weather day for the best views. The 5.5 km hike winds through laurel forest along the ridge with views of the Atlantic and neighboring islands including Tenerife, La Palma, and El Hierro. At the summit, you'll see solidified volcanic vents. The walk takes about 2 hours 50 minutes with 300 meters ascent but 500 meters descent, plus 1 hour travel time.

La Gomera to Tenerife
After breakfast, you'll transfer by bus and ferry back to Tenerife. Once the ferry docks at Los Cristianos harbor, watch for signage for Autobuses Mesa, which runs buses to Tenerife airport or wherever your next connection takes you.
