Banff to Lake Louise - Yoho National Park

- Spiral Tunnels - innovative railway engineering where trains spiral upward inside mountain (pass through with commentary)
- Emerald Lake - largest of Yoho's 61 lakes with distinctive emerald-colored waters from glacial meltwater (approximately 20 minutes)
- Natural Bridge - rock formation over Kicking Horse River demonstrating water erosion (approximately 15 minutes)
- Vermillion Lakes - peaceful winter retreat with views of Mount Rundle reflected in open water patches (approximately 20 minutes)

- Lake Louise Ski Resort - largest ski area in Canada with over 100 ski runs for all skill levels, option to purchase lift tickets and rent equipment on-site (approximately 2 hours) [If resort not open, replaced with scenic drive along Icefields Parkway with photo stops at Bow Lake and Peyto Lake]
- Abraham Lake - striking man-made lake famous for rare frozen methane bubbles trapped beneath icy surface
Optional Activities
- Tubing at Lake Louise - fun winter activity suitable for all ages, slide down snowy slopes on inflatable tube
- Lake Louise Sightseeing Gondola - ride up mountain for panoramic views of snow-covered landscape and surrounding peaks
- Heli Tour - scenic helicopter flight over majestic peaks of Canadian Rockies, flight time approximately 20 minutes
