- Day 1
Kilimanjaro to Moshi
You'll land at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your OneSeed team meets you. From there, it's about an hour drive to Moshi where you check into your partner lodge. This evening brings everyone together for a welcome dinner to launch the whole trek experience.

Moshi to Machame Camp
After early breakfast, you'll drive an hour to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate to pick up trekking permits. Then the trek starts through mossy rainforest at a gradual pace for acclimatization. You're looking at roughly 7 miles over 5 to 7 hours, and you might spot monkeys and other wildlife in the thick forest. By evening you'll reach Machame Camp with a hot meal and time to rest.

Machame to Shira Camp
You leave the rainforest behind after breakfast and keep climbing. Crossing a valley, you'll walk along a steep rocky ridge with heather all around. Heading west into a river gorge brings you to Shira Camp where you'll have a hot meal and sleep under the stars in tents.

Landmarks Mount Kilimanjaro - Day 4
Shira to Barranco Camp
Warm tea and coffee start your day before heading toward Barranco Camp. From Shira Plateau, you trek east up a ridge aiming toward Kibo peak, with the terrain getting progressively steeper and rockier. You'll arrive at Barranco Camp in time for a sunset dinner. This day keeps you at the same elevation you started, but it's essential for letting your body adjust to altitude.

Barranco to Karanga Camp
After breakfast, you tackle the steep Barranco Wall and continue through the Karanga Valley to reach Karanga Camp. This is a shorter walking day on purpose, giving your body more time to acclimate as elevation increases.

Karanga Valley to Final Camp
You leave Karanga Valley and head through passes that connect with the Mweka Trail. By now you'll have finished the South Circuit trek with summit views from multiple angles. You'll set up camp, rest, have dinner, and prepare yourself mentally and physically for summit day tomorrow.

Uhuru Peak and Descent to Mweka Camp
Midnight or 2 am wake-up signals the summit push. You'll hike roughly 3.1 miles over 7 to 8 hours in cold darkness up heavy scree between Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers toward Stella Point on the crater rim. A spectacular sunrise meets you as you reach Uhuru Peak at 19,341 ft, the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. After celebrating and taking in the views, you begin the descent of about 7.5 miles over 4 to 6 hours down to Mweka Camp. Your final dinner happens here with the porters and guides.

- Day 8
Mweka Camp to Moshi
Take a final look from Mweka Camp and join your OneSeed team for songs and dancing. Then you finish descending roughly 6.2 miles over 3 to 4 hours to Mweka Park Gate where a vehicle meets you. Back in Moshi, you'll shower, rest, and gather for a farewell dinner. This evening's a good moment to tip the porters, cooks, and guides.

Moshi to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in Moshi, you drive about 4 hours on scenic roads to Tarangire National Park. Once there, pop the roof of your vehicle and start an afternoon game drive looking for elephants, ostrich, waterbuck, giraffe, zebra, lions, and other wildlife. Later you'll head to your campsite within the park and settle in for the night under the stars.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 10
Tarangire to Ngorongoro
Coffee in hand, you watch baboon troops around the campgrounds. After a hearty breakfast, a morning game drive in Tarangire lets you spot more animals, then lunch happens at the park gates. From there, it's roughly 3 hours driving to Ngorongoro for your first views of the massive crater full of wildlife. You'll continue to your group campsite positioned on the crater rim.

- Day 11
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Moshi
You wake early and drive into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site formed by a volcano that imploded over 3 million years ago. The conservation area holds over 25,000 large animals where rhinos, zebras, lions, wildebeests, and impalas live. After returning to the campsite for lunch, you drive about 4 hours back to Moshi, arriving around 5 pm.

Departure from Moshi
