  I am sorry to inform you that this tour was extremely bad organised. I have been at many other small groups in Africa and normally don't mind if something goes on 'the African style', but in tour the information was super bad (and not correct), the drivers did not speak English and some tour guides were really bad. I will explain to you in detail: - Although I asked for the names of the hotels, I did not get this information. At the passport controll they almost did not let me in the country because I did not have the name of the hotel.. - The information about when to start the next morning was late or there was no message. For example at Friday night I waited for the whatsapp message, but got nothing. I had to call to different numbers before I spoke to somebody who could tell me the pickup time. Thsi is not how I would like to spend my Friday evening on holiday, - The DellaRosa hotel told me that I was checked in until September 5, so for me it was unclear if I could leave my luggage or not. - The City tour through Marrakech was very bad. The tourguide was extremely unkind, all participants left the tour before lunch (while the tour was the whole day) because the guide was terrible. - When I was picked up for the desert tour I was placed from bus to bus and nobody asked me what my tour was and no names or anything was checked. The guides/drivers did not speak English and were very pussy and in a rush. This does not benefit a relaxing holiday vibe and gives an unsafe feeling; wondering if I was on the right tour. - The description of the desert tour did not fit with what we actually did. There was no information provided at all, so everytime it was a surprise for me what we were going to do (also because the driver could not speak English). This would not have been too bad if the guides/driver were just patient and nice, but there was always a rush. We had to hurry while we did not know what to do as there was no information provided. This was very unpleasant. - When we arrived at the Sahara there was no information provided again, so we did not know what to pack (and againg we had to be in a hurry). I asked the guided of the Sahara camp if we needed to bring water and he said; 'No there is water in the camp'. But.. when we arrived and dinner was served there appeared to be no water. When we asked for them to make a plan to provide water, nothing happened. After somebody got angry they got water from somewhere, after 2 hours the water arrived. - In the Sahara camp also they told us breakfast should be ready at 5 o'clock, so we could see the sunrise by camel. We waited about one hour for the breakfast, waited for another hour for the camel guide, and finally watched the sunrise from the camp instead of from the camel. I felt very sorry because I looked forward to that sunrise a lot. - I paid 100 euro extra for a private room, but in the Sahara camp I was placed with another man. A long story, but I think it is really important that you improve this tour before you offer it again. I also feel the need to put this review on TripAdvisorShow more

  While I loved Morocco, I cannot recommend the Discover Morocco and will not use this company again. The itinerary changed without notification, and we were never quite sure of what we were going to do or see each day. My party consisted of two people, and the driver (tour guide) catered to my younger counterpart. He continually offered only her refreshments and excluded me from site information conversations. So much so that the driver actually told me to “be quiet” as I attempted to ask a question. While driving on narrow and zig-zag roads, I had to ask the driver to keep his eyes on the road as he was looking back at the other passenger. The pearl in the arranged hotels was Dar Ahmel in Dades - beautiful with an incredible staff. Unfortunately, the same does not hold for the Hotel Volubilis in Fez. The service was lacking, and the premise felt dated. When we arrived at our last hotel in Marrakech, there was no vacancy for us. The main benefit of booking a tour with a travel company is avoiding these complications. While Discover Morocco arranged for accommodations at another hotel, we spent three and half hours waiting.Show more

  Dear Jacqueline I am really quiet surprised to have received this rating from you despite all the effort we've done to help you change and amend your itinerary. You requested us to cut the trip short as you have your flight leaving one day earlier . Doing so means that we had to skip a visit to Ouzoud waterfall visit. After your complaint to our manager, we have arranged a private day trip free of charge on your last day and back to the airport. Water is complementary and available to anyone on board. You came together on this tour and I don't know what made you say that. Hotel provided are all 4* and no one had complained about them. In fact everyone is pleased with our hotels selections. On your last day, the hotel was overbooked indeed and offered you a dinner buffet free of charge and upgraded you to a nice 5* Riad. I think this should compensate for the time you had to wait.   Had an enjoyable experience! Typically would have wanted more communication or precise details a little further in advance. Just my personal preference. Sometimes I didn’t find out about the plan for the next day until very late the evening before. However the owner Omar and his staff were quick to respond and provided me everything I needed. They even helped me find a Covid test and helped me print out some documents I needed before my return flight. The accommodations were all perfectly reasonable. The price for the tour was spot on and I would recommend it to my friends. Now to some special people. Our main tour guide Younes was great. He has a wonderful sense of humor and great knowledge of Morocco. He cracked us up with his jokes all day long. Driss our driver was fantastic. He is incredible caring and a great human being. He accommodated us for everything we needed and was also quick to respond every time. These two guys also helped me grab things things from the mall after my luggage was lost from the airport. I appreciate both of them so much.Show more

They even went through the hassle to change the itinerary so we saved almost a full day so we could see more! In short it was perfect for an unforgettable experience!Show more
