  Through the works of Discover Morocco, we fall in love with this beautiful and vibrant country. I have zero evidence of bad, but rather all showing good will and great help; hiccups turned into deep fun. The main driver also guide who lives in Marrakech and shepherded us through most of our trip through strange cities, mountains and desserts, deserved my heartfelt appreciation. He is the true backbone of DM and Morocco. Make no mistake, Morocco is no Swiss, and this is a most unique discovery not a military muster. Our pickup from Marrakech to Casablanca was late due to a flat tire, but the young driver from Casablanca not only made up with his in depth introduction to the country, but also opened his heart, which was contagious and cured my attitude of smallness. The night pick up from the train station in Rabat was also late; the tall, handsome, rescuing driver apologized profusely, non-stop pointing out sceneries, never attempting to shift blame elsewhere; how refreshing. Finally, we are now back home from the tour for a month, the experiences are still astounding. Time and money well spent, indeed.Show more

  Date 24/12/25 to 5/1/26 It was a horrible experience. Discover Morocco was not a responsible tour agent at all. (1) On day 4. We were supposed to take train from Casablanca to Tangier at 10am. Discover Morocco did not book the train tickets and we managed to get on a train only at 1pm. Wasted whole morning in the hotel doing nothing !!! (2) On day 8. We were supposed to go to Merzouga Desert and camped in the desert overnight. Again Discover Morocco didi not book the camel ride and did not book tha camp at Merzouga Desert.. All of us ( 9 persons) were standing at the road side from 5pm to 9pm, under the wind, with no place to go.Ultimately, the driver drove us to a 1 to 2-star ( supposed to be 4-star) for that evening. The hotel gave us omelette ( NOT GRAND DINNER as promised) for dinner. (3) Lunch/dinner arrangement. Drivers/tour guides took us to pre-choosen restaurants. Most of the time, we had to pay for 3-course meal at a very high price. I hope that Tourradar will look into this issue seriously. Thank you. Dr ChewShow more

Concerning the Merzouga desert experience, it was not cancelled. Due to overbooking at the original camp, we arranged an alternative accommodation to ensure your safety and comfort. The desert tour and camel experience proceeded as planned, allowing you to enjoy the full experience. Alternative accommodations and meals were arranged promptly in response to circumstances, prioritizing guest safety and comfort. As indicated in the itinerary, restaurants and meal costs are determined by the establishments and are optional. After review, we confirm that all planned destinations were visited and the itinerary was followed. We regret that peak-season challenges impacted your perception of the trip and sincerely appreciate your feedback to help us improve future tours.

  We did the 13 day tour which included Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangiers, Rabat, Fez, many villages, the Atlas Mountains & Sahara desert. The days were very busy, with a lot to see. The itinerary was followed (with some small modifications). We asked to start the tour in Casablanca, and added Days 1 & 2 to the end of the tour. The tour agency was very helpful in arranging this. ORGANIZATION: Our group ranged from 4-14 people, according to where we were. In some cases additional people were present just for the day tour. Overall the tour was well organized. However in many cases we would only be advised the evening before of our pickup time the next day-several times we had the wrong pickup info as a consequence. It would be better if we were given info more in advance. HOTELS: All the hotels (other than the Delarosa in Marrakech) were not the ones indicated in the brochure. However all were of comparable price and quality. GUIDES: All the guides were excellent with respect to their knowledge & enthusiasm. We would like to acknowledge all of them: CASABLANCA Driver Mehdi, Guide Sila TANGIER Driver Nor, Guide Mohammed CHEFCHAOUEN Driver Nor, Guide Abdul RABAT Driver Adnan (for 5 days), Guide (1 day) Isham VOLUBILIS Guide Abdul FES Guide Rashid TINGHIT Guide Jamal MEZOUGHA Camel guide Hussain ATLAS FILM STUDIOS Guide Brad Pitt MARRAKESH Guide Hachim. There were many sites to see, and in some cases we ran out of time, or finished too late in the day. In retrospect, it would have been helpful if the guides had explained what we were doing that day & explained the timeline so we could adapt. FOOD: All hotels had a generous breakfast buffet included. The food was excellent and varied. Lunch & dinner was paid by us. A MAJOR COMPLAINT WAS THE INSISTENCE OF EVERY GUIDE TO TAKE US TO THEIR CHOSEN RESTAURANT. In spite of our REPEATED REQUESTS for small lunches (sandwich style), every guide insisted on taking us to a certain (a friend’s?) restaurant that had a set tourist menu for a full meal, and in most cases, had NO PRICES on the menu. A menu without prices is a warning signal for “overpriced- tourist beware”. And given that every guide did the same, clearly this is a common practice. This is the ONLY MAJOR COMPLAINT WE HAD FOR THE TOUR. BUT IT WAS CONSISTENTLY FRUSTRATING. OVERALL RATING: 8.5/10Show more

  My experience was not what I was expecting. For the beginning of my tour the first 2 days I was not in a group. Then the following 2 days random people joined me. It wasn't until I arrived in Rabat that the tour had the same people and driver bit no designated guide. It was a different guide at each city or activity. The last 2 days of my tour again I was on my own and joined day trips with random people not the people I had previously been travelling with.Show more

  This is one of the BEST MOROCCAN Tours. I did in Dec 2024. Chefchoune is included in this tour which is a must see city in Morocco. Morocco is not seen if Chefchoune is not visited. Additionally the desert life experience and visiting Eit Bin Haddou was a great experience. If you visit off season this tour is steal!! One comprehensive tour of Morocco.. The only drawback is that this tour the stays are all in hotels...However, staying inside a RIAD (Moroccan classic guest houses) is a better experience to have in Morocco. If I have to visit again, I would choose tours with stays in RIADS if not all days but some days at least.. and staying overnight at Chefchoune would be even better.Show more

Only critisism is some of the drivers didn't speak very good English and communication was not good enough in regards to letting you know what time pick up was the following day. Sometimes I was getting messages after midnight while I was asleep. After being dropped off at some places you were not told what was going on or when I pick up was etc. So communication was a big factor. There is no one that could really ask questions. Also I was on my own for the first few days until I was put with two other people. Some cards were upset that I was there during Eid but not my fault. I did not know.Show more

  We recently did this 13D tour with Discover Morocco / Easy Transfers and this was big positive surprise. I was little bit affraid reading some reviews but tour was organized very professionally, all informations sent in advance and biggest surprise was quality of hotels and desert camp. Hotels were 4* and 5* (Morocco rating) what is usual European rating 3*-4* but still every hotel was very good, excellent breakfasts and if we asked for quiet room, always was possible, not facing main street, no wake up by morning prayer call. Even Onomo hotel in Rabat was very nice, no disco during our stay and after we asked for quiet room, we got such really quiet. Luxury desert tent was with fan, shower and comfy bed. TGV train ride was good, safe and very pleasant travel between Casablanca and Tangier traveling up to 300km/h in comfort way. Modern train stations offer Starbucks, McDonald or similar fast food options. Highlight was our last 6days with Adnan - our excellent driver - when we joined in Rabat other members of our group (totally we were 6). Adnan was driving always with care and attention and speaking English and French (and probably Spanish too) it was easy to communicate. He did everything to satisfy our ideas ... Visits in "business" stores were only in Marakkech and Fez, so not a big problem (and less than expected), but I prefere it is even more limited, really nobody I know enjoy it. Guide should ask group and if at least one person say YES, then go, but otherwise not go to "overpriced" shops. What can be improved: guide in Casablanca was only one asking for tip agressively & info messages from Mariem were just less informative than needed ("like driver will wait for you after your arrival to train station" with no info where exactly and where the place is located - if it is at Starbucks we missed info, that Starbucks is not inside but outside and which exit it is, it could safe 10-15min searching over train station). Marakkech guides do not go to Saadian Tombs even in itinerary (they just say it is not worth a visit), if you have free time - do it by yourself - not sure why they do not want to go there, it is not bad place, not super exciting but worth a visit.Show more
