Trekking up to EBC has always been a dream for me. Had a hard time deciding on what Trekking tour company to use from the many that were available. Being a below average hiker at best and being 59 years old, I needed to make sure I chose wisely. Dhruba, Eco Holidays Nepal's owner, put my mind at ease by promptly answering all my questions and concerns. And it didn't stop there, from the moment Dhruba picked me up at the Kathmandu airport till he dropped me off there two weeks later, I always felt that someone would always be there to take care of any issues that might arise. It seemed like my entire trek went smoothly. Btw, I had the absolute BEST sherpa ( Mingma ) and porter ( Sandip ). They were very supportive and let me know the plan everyday. And they did it all with a smile on their faces. I can't tell you how much they all made this an experience of a lifetime. I confided in Mingma, that I had to get to EBC no matter what. He said don't worry, if need be, they would carry me to top just so that my dream would come true. ( thank God they didn't have to do that ). Mingma set a slow pace, that suited my needs, sprinkled with plenty of rest breaks, assuring I would make it to EBC, which I did ! Upon arriving back at Kathmandu, Dhruba set up a couple of tours for me so I could experience some of the Nepali culture and people. Needless to say, I had a memorable trip. So, if you are having a difficult time deciding of which EBC trekking company to use, I could not endorse Eco Holiday Nepal Tours enough. They made my dream trek come true.Show more

Overall a really good experience from Dhruba and Eco Holidays. Dhruba was waiting for us at the airport, and gave us a full briefing the day before our trek. Our guide Basu was great. At our request he even managed to arrange the helicopter to get us back to Kathmandu straight after we reached base camp- avoiding having to spend the night Gorak Shep. On our return to Kathmandu Dhruba was again there to welcome us, and he’d arranged for our luggage to be at the hotel on our arrival. He even arranged for our transfer back to the airport the next day. We spoke to a lot of people who’d booked trips with other companies whilst we were on the trek. I’m pretty confident in saying that Eco Holidays are amongst the best of the Nepali run companies. I’d have no hesitation in recommending them.Show more

Well, what an experience. I went on an Everest base camp trek last month. I had been dreaming of EBC for many years but I wasn’t sure if I would be able to complete such tough trekking routes. Then I booked this tour via TourRadar then i contact of Eco Holidays Nepal for more information. They were so easy to communicate with necessary information. As for the trek itself, it was fantastic and the views of the Everest region were stunning. Of course, the scenery is wonderful but the tour itself was excellent. I returned back to Kathmandu by helicopter. I enjoyed lots and highly recommended this trip who have limit time and don't want same way back down.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Eco Holidays Nepal. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
