Pamela· September 26th, 2025There are no words that can accurately describe what an amazing trip this was. I have taken many adventures using Tourradar and all have been excellent, but this one really stands out. From the transportation to the lodging to tho overall experience this tour will forever be in my heart. Thanks to Yagiz at Tourradar and all of the wonderful people I met along the way. This was truly amazing. I hope the memories never fade. ❤️🇹🇷Show more

Yagiz was an excellent contact, was in touch and provided feedback to my many questions & provided wonderful assistance throughout. Was also nice to be with different people each day based on the tour. All round a wonderful experience.Show more
City of Sultans commented on this reviewThank you very much for the kind words, Eva. It was a great pleasure hosting you here in Turkey. Kind Regards - YagizTrip date: September 2025 - JMJennifer Hope· January 11th, 2025Our 7-day tour of Istanbul and Cappadocia was an unforgettable experience! The journey started in Istanbul, where we explored the stunning Hagia Sophia, the vibrant Grand Bazaar, and the magnificent Topkapi Palace. Each day was filled with fascinating history, incredible architecture, and delicious food. The highlight of Istanbul was a boat ride along the Bosphorus, offering breathtaking views of the city’s skyline. Afterward, we traveled to Cappadocia, where the landscape felt almost otherworldly. The hot air balloon ride at sunrise over the fairy chimneys was absolutely magical, and the cave dwellings and ancient rock formations were truly unique. Our guides were knowledgeable and made the trip even more enjoyable with insightful stories and tips. Overall, the tour was well-organized, with plenty of time to explore each destination at a relaxed pace. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the rich culture and natural beauty of Turkey in one trip! Special thanks to Ozgur and Yagiz from City of Sultans for all of their assistance in enabling this beautiful trip!Show more
City of Sultans commented on this reviewThank you very much for the kind words, Jennifer, it was our great pleasure hosting you here in Turkey. Best Regards, Yagiz - City of SultansTrip date: February 2024 - DEDaryl John· January 9th, 2025The timings of the flights and tours were impeccable, we have enjoyed our tour thoroughly, our guide in Istanbul was a knowledge house. The hotel in Istanbul (Recital Hotel) was located very close to the tour sites and also very clean, the breakfast was great. For dinner, there are a lot of places to eat nearby in Istanbul, so you can take your pick. The hotel in Cappadocia (Zula Cave House) is a historical rock building converted into a hotel so it was a different experience, the staff was very helpful and always had a smile on their faces, the breakfast was okay. The hotel in Cappadocia is also located close to many restaurants, so you can enjoy the local food. Overall, it was worth it to go through with this adventure, thanks to City of Sultans for helping us organize everything.Show more

We all hope to see you again in Turkey..Trip date: May 2024 - FOFujiko· May 16th, 2024Visiting historical places should be more than spending a lot of time for introducing souvenir shops in Istanbul even I enjoyed visiting the Turkish carpet display place. The tour guide in Istanbul was good, every knowledgeable. Not enough time spent for the interesting places in Cappadocia. The hotel in Cappadocia (Cave Hotel) was not the one you confirmed to me. It was not ideal hotel for elder people as the transport vehicle could not come in front of the entrance. I had to drag the suitcases on unpaved road to the entrance of the hotel.Show more

Asked on July 27th, 2025if we fly from Calgary (western Canada on February 14th I assume we would arrive in Istanbul later on the 15th, meaning we would need to find accommodation for the night of the 15th and begin our tour on February 16th. Is this correct thinking about timing?

Traveler•Written July 2025What I'd really like to know is how many hours per day might include walking (on average). Will we be staying at the same accommodation for all the days we are in Cappadocia?
City of SultansOperator•Written July 2025You will certainly be staying at the same hotel for all days in Cappadocia, and the guide would definitely assist you in returning to the hotel should you wish to do so during the tour.
City of SultansOperator•Written July 2025The guide let me know that walking hours usually cover the whole tour (min. 5 hours), however, the distances are not too long.

Traveler•Written July 2025Is there any idea of how much walking in a single day? Can we stay in the same place we would be staying in Istanbul during the tour?
City of SultansOperator•Written July 2025If you are arriving early in the morning, you already have the first day off so you would have a day to rest. Alternatively, we could give you an extra day off by sliding the itinerary by one day, effectively adding a full rest day before you begin any activity.
