Can you tell me how much more is the price if we add the two domestic flights between Istanbul and Cappadocia?

The total price would be 260 USD / Per Person

I am booking solo & another friend for same tour. Any chance to upgrade to 5 star hotels? if so, can you advise which ones & price.

We use the Legacy Ottoman Hotel in Istanbul and the Temenni Evi Cave Suites in Cappadocia. (we book our other, similar 5* alternatives should the hotels not be available) The price to upgrade would be 770 US$ / Total in a Single Room.

Do i choose a hotel option to book as i have seen some people opted for different hotels in their reviews? I would like to stay in a cave hotel in Cappadocia.

On what day of the trip would the hot air balloon be an option? What time does the hot air balloon ride start?

Would it be possible for the return flight to Istanbul be changed to Athens? Also, do you have a tour like this in Greece.

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue international tickets on your behalf. We could give you a discount on the final day's flight if you book with the domestic flight tickets option and you would like to arrange for an international flight to Greece directly from Kayseri or Nevsehir airports. Also, we are only a local tour operator in Turkey, so we do not have any tours in Greece.

Are the tours of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace inside the buildings or only seen for outside?

They are entered, but the entrance fees for Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace are excluded and can be paid on the spot to the tour guide. Topkapi Palace: 60 EUR / Per Person. Hagia Sophia: 30 EUR / Per Person These are the current prices and may be changed at the time of your visit if the administration increases the prices.

Can the tour be in Spanish and can I have information on costs if you arange in-country flights

The group tours we offer are only operated in English. If you require a Spanish Tour, the price might be as much as 2x the regular group tour price since it would be arranged privately for you. The Domestic Flight Tickets are 260 USD / Per Person.

Overall lovely one week tour of Istanbul & Cappadocia. Yagiz and the City of Sultans tour team were incredibly helpful and kind during the entire trip. I appreciated how quickly they responded to messages and how organized they were. In terms of lodging: the Antea Oldcity Hotel in Istanbul was very well located but quite old/musty/outdated. The Arte Cave Hotel in Cappadocia was much nicer, well located and staff were very kind. Itinerary: The overall itinerary was balanced nicely and I appreciated that the days were not packed and having free time. That being said, we did not visit the Topkapi Palace as our guide said the lines would be too long....Additionally, almost every day, each tour included a stop at a designated merchant (carpet, pottery, leather) where they would give a 'sales pitch' to everyone. It would have been appreciated if there was more transparency about this beforehand in the itinerary as some stops last between 30 - 45 minutes. In terms of flights, it would also have been better to take an earlier flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia on Day 4. Our flight left at 13:00 which meant all of Day 4 was spent traveling rather than sight seeing in the afternoon. A few areas of improvement but I would overall recommend - we had a great week!Show more

The timings of the flights and tours were impeccable, we have enjoyed our tour thoroughly, our guide in Istanbul was a knowledge house. The hotel in Istanbul (Recital Hotel) was located very close to the tour sites and also very clean, the breakfast was great. For dinner, there are a lot of places to eat nearby in Istanbul, so you can take your pick. The hotel in Cappadocia (Zula Cave House) is a historical rock building converted into a hotel so it was a different experience, the staff was very helpful and always had a smile on their faces, the breakfast was okay. The hotel in Cappadocia is also located close to many restaurants, so you can enjoy the local food. Overall, it was worth it to go through with this adventure, thanks to City of Sultans for helping us organize everything.Show more

Visiting historical places should be more than spending a lot of time for introducing souvenir shops in Istanbul even I enjoyed visiting the Turkish carpet display place. The tour guide in Istanbul was good, every knowledgeable. Not enough time spent for the interesting places in Cappadocia. The hotel in Cappadocia (Cave Hotel) was not the one you confirmed to me. It was not ideal hotel for elder people as the transport vehicle could not come in front of the entrance. I had to drag the suitcases on unpaved road to the entrance of the hotel.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 17th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 17th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with City of Sultans. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and City of Sultans will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "City of Sultans" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
