  We have a customer interested in a bike tour with a mix of single track and scenic 30 km rides per day. Could you please provide more information about the itinerary, inclusions, and types of accommodations for this tour? Additionally, could you advise on the expected daily kilometre rides?

    This trip is an active adventure based in Soldeu, Andorra, combining mountain biking, hiking, rafting and other outdoor activities in the Pyrenees. It is a great option for travellers looking for a varied active holiday rather than a dedicated cycling tour.
    
    Regarding the cycling, there are two included mountain biking days:
    
    • Day 2: Approximately 16 km of riding through the Cortals Valley and around Engolasters Lake. The route includes off-road tracks, optional single-track sections through woodland and an optional 5 km road descent for more experienced riders.
    
    • Day 6: Approximately 20 km of mountain biking through the Pyrenees, including around 7 km of uphill riding. The route combines road descents, off-road tracks and mountain scenery. A support vehicle is available for those who prefer to skip some of the uphill sections.
    
    Overall, the cycling distances are shorter than the 30 km per day. However, the rides do include scenic mountain landscapes, off-road terrain and some single-track sections.
    
    Accommodation is based on 7 nights in chalet-style accommodation in Soldeu, Andorra. The chalets offer comfortable en-suite rooms and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after active days in the mountains.

  I imagined the trips would typically have a larger amount of travellers on them. Do you anticipate for this number to grow or is it typical to only go with 3 travellers?

  Do you have bikes to suit a shorter woman. I am 5'2". I dont get on well with a mens bike with the higher bar in the middle.

    We do have bikes to suit different height levels. The tour leader will assist you in selecting a bike that suites your height.

  If I book a trip for late August or early September of '24, is it possible to change the date without penalty ? I ask given it's impossible to know as of this writing what my work schedule may be. I am certainly aware that it would be subject to availability. To confirm, this is in regards to the Andorra hike, bike, and rafting adventure.

    Yes, it is as long as the change is made outside 56 days of departure. Our booking condition is: (a) 56 days or more prior to departure, we will hold your deposit amount as a credit; (b) between 31 and 55 days prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking cost; (c) between 30 and 15 days prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 60% of the total booking cost; (d) 14 days or fewer prior to departure, we charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking cost.

  May I ask if you have Andorra tour quotation for 30-40 pax? It says in your website that the indicated price is just for maximum of 16 pax. How about 30-40 pax is it possible?

    Thank you for your interest in travel with Intrepid to Andorra! However as we focus on small group adventures our maximum size is 16. We tend to use local and small hotels and private vehicles rather then busses so unfortunately cannot operate tours for larger groups. If you have a small group wanting to travel let us know we would be happy to assist!
