Arrival in Cairo
You'll be picked up from Cairo Airport and taken to your hotel. After settling in, spend some time getting familiar with the hotel and its facilities following your travel.

- Day 2
Cairo to Luxor Cruise
Fly to Luxor in the morning and walk through Karnak temple complex and its avenue of ram-headed sphinxes. Board your seven-night Nile cruise. Have lunch onboard, then go to the Luxor Museum to see ancient pieces. Later, meet your Travel Director and other guests for drinks before dinner.

Dendera to Edfu Cruise
This morning, visit the Temple of Hathor in Dendera, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples with a rare image of Cleopatra and her son Caesarion. Return to your ship for lunch, then sail through the Esna Lock and head toward Edfu as the Nile unfolds around you.

Kom Ombo and Aswan
Have breakfast while cruising to Kom Ombo, then continue to Aswan, which has important archaeological sites like Philae Temple Complex and the Temple of Isis. Choose between a cooking demonstration with the ship's chef or tea with the Captain. Evening brings Egyptian dinner with a galabeya party.

Landmarks Philae Temple Complex Temple of Isis - Day 5
Aswan Exploration
See Aswan's High Dam and the granite quarries where you can spot the enormous unfinished obelisk. Take a motorboat to the Temple of Isis on Philae Island, which rises from the Nile. Watch a performance about the Nile flood and stories of goddesses in a Roman-style theatre. The rest of the day is yours to relax on the ship.

Sail a traditional felucca with a local sailor who explains the history and techniques of this ancient boat. Visit a women's co-operative where scrap materials become fine handicrafts. At sunset, have high tea at the historic Old Cataract Hotel where Churchill and Agatha Christie once stayed. End the evening with the Sound and Light Show at Philae Island.

Abu Simbel Optional and Kom Ombo
The morning is free to take an optional trip to Abu Simbel, where you'll see the Great Temple of Ramesses II and Temple of Hathor overlooking Lake Nasser. Later in the day, sail to Kom Ombo to visit Egypt's only double temple, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and falcon god Horus the Elder.

Cruise to Luxor
Spend a relaxing day cruising the Nile toward Luxor. Keep your camera ready as the ship moves along the river. In the evening, the ship docks at Luxor Temple where you can go ashore.

Luxor West Bank and Valley of the Kings
Leave the cruise and travel by coach to the west bank of the Nile. Walk through the Temple of Hatshepsut and explore the Valley of the Kings where pharaohs including Tutankhamun are buried. Visit Geziret Bahirat village to share bread with a local family and learn about their daily life. Then transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo.

Cairo Historic Sites
Head up to the Citadel for views across Cairo. Tour the Alabaster Mosque, built by Muhammad Ali Pasha who shaped modern Egypt. Then check out the Grand Egyptian Museum to see ancient artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamun all in one collection.

- Day 11
Memphis, Saqqara, and Giza Pyramids
Travel to Memphis to see the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Great Alabaster Sphinx. After that, head to Saqqara to walk through the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, which dates back to 2700 BC. In the afternoon, go to Giza to see the pyramids and the Sphinx, then head inside one to see the burial chambers.
