It was very difficult for me to find a company that could give me advice and have enough patience to help me organize my safari, having in consideration that I travelled on my own. Comfort was very very helpful and kind. She has patience and helped me designed the trip, according to the time I had available. I was very lucky to have Joseph as my driver and tour guide. He is extremely kind and polite. He shown his knowledge about the fauna, and the area in general. He also was aware if I ate or not, if I was feeling well or not. He went beyond his duties and always with a smile, trying to find as many animals as possible, and we did! I could see the Big 5 and even more animals. It has been so amazing. Every activity was done according the schedule, very organized. I do not have complaints about that. Regarding accomodations, the least I liked was Lake Nakuru Lodge because the bedrooms were kind a old. At Amboseli Serena did not have any problems...just the baboons, which I really do not like. The best for me was Ilkeliani Camp. I will definitely go back. It was very pleasant and quiet. I wish I could have stayed longer. About the food in all accomodations, to me...breakfast was the best. Regarding to lunch and dinner, there were interesting options. Thank you for the experience and I am looking forward to go back to Africa next year. I was interested in a 7 day Safari that visited the popular destinations and this was perfect. I traveled with my mother aged 56 and 3 children aged 13, 12 and 6. It was a special and memorable experience. Comfort at Muraa African Safaris was understanding and took the time to design a 10 days package that suited our needs.The driver Daniel was knowledgable and co driver very friendly keeping children entertained- most of all we were so lucky and got to see all the big five! Accommodation was varied to suit our needs and budget, we opted for 3 star hotel in Nakuru and tented camping in maasai mara to get the real feel of nature. In Tanzania we saw the big 5 mostly Serengeti and Ngorongoro was wonderful. This was my first safari and will definitely be booking another one off the beaten track (cultural safari). My highlights would be picnic under the thorn tree in Maasai mara, visiting maasai manyatta(village) and dancing with the warriors, observing a lion feed after a kill and flamingoes at Lake nakuru. Please note we were on holiday in Mombasa for 3 weeks and MURAA AFRICAN SAFARIS was reccomended by a local resident.Show more

I made last minute plans for my trip and was accommodated quickly within my 10 days "planning" process with Comfort from Muraa African Safaris office! I was met and picked up and taken to the Masai camp area and had a great time with everyone. The highlight of my trip was seeing the children in the Masai tribe while visiting their school. I saw so many animals and also visited lake Nakuru, and lake Naivasha. The driver, Nelson was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating as well. The price was affordable,for me and i did a total of 10 days 9 nights with the tour guide. I felt safe throughout the entire trip and enjoyed shopping and seeing all the wonderful treasures that Kenya and Tanzania had to offer. I also was able to do the hot air balloon ride and watch the sunrise. There were so many great aspects of my trip i wish i could describe it all. Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of 25% is required to confirm your booking with Muraa African Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
