  My wife and I really enjoyed this experience! We felt well taken care of the entire week. Abraham is an exceptional guide. As a local he was a wealth of knowledge about the area and added so much value to our trip. He is very kind and attentive. His English is good, and his technical mountain experience was appreciated on the ascent of Mt. Toubkal. Lhassan is an exceptional chef. His meals were delicious and varied, and the portions were very generous. We very much appreciated his friendly and playful demeanor. The Atlas mountains are gorgeous and Mt. Toubkal is a very worthwhile ascent. The surrounding villages perched on steep mountainsides are friendly, beautiful, and unlike anything we've experienced. There are a few ways in which our experience could have been better: Communication with the tour operator was not great. The tour operator should let clients know that the 7-day Toubkal Circuit itinerary detailed online is not possible in winter conditions. We messaged with the tour operator leading up to the trip and they did not mention that the itinerary would look different than what was advertised. It wasn't until we were dropped off in the Atlas mountains on day 1 that we learned we would be doing a completely different route through the villages in the valleys to avoid the snow. This meant most days were short starting around 10am, stopping for a 1-2 hour lunch, and finishing around 3 or 4pm. We could have done this itinerary in 4-5 days instead of 7 and had more time to explore other areas in Morocco. The tour operator failed to properly communicate important things we would need for the trip. For example, you need your passport for a checkpoint on Toubkal. Thankfully we had our passports with us, but we almost left them in our locker in Marrakech, which would have been unfortunate. The tour operator should notify clients of must-need items. Most days we had very generous servings of food and left every meal full and energized. The exception to this was the ascent of Mt. Toubkal, where food portions were small and snacks were not included. We had brought our own energy bars and recommend others do the same.Show more

  Overall a great trip. My guide ( Ibrahim) and cook (Muhammad) took great care of me and made sure I had what I needed. They adjusted pace accordingly and made extra efforts to ensure I had a great time.A few things to note: - If booking a trip from Nov- March, this does NOT include Toukbal. There is an alternate route (not as high or steep but still beautiful and challenging). - The food is freshly prepared. That means though that lunch is often late (1:30-2:30 pm). They always do their best to make the journey comfortable, enjoyable, and adapted to each traveler’s pace. We also appreciate your notes for future guests. To clarify: Toubkal is still available in winter, and many travelers do successfully climb it during the colder months with the proper equipment and guidance. However, the route to Lac d’Ifni is not accessible for mules in winter, which makes that part of the itinerary impossible with pack animals. It is still possible on foot, but it requires proper winter conditions and readiness, so we adjust the route accordingly to ensure safety and comfort. We’re glad you enjoyed the freshly prepared meals as well. Since everything is cooked on the spot, lunch can be a bit later, but we appreciate your patience and understanding. The views were fantastic, experience of Berber culture and hospitality was fascinating, food was delicious - highly recommended. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized — beautiful trails, breathtaking scenery, and a genuine connection to local Berber culture. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we felt safe and comfortable. The route took us through charming villages, high passes, and hidden valleys that most tourists never see.   I can highly recommend this company- I had the most amazing time. Communication before I arrived was outstanding- every effort was taken to ensure I had a tailor made trip that would work for me as a solo woman traveller. They even phoned me from Morocco to discuss details. Hassan is very organises and caring he arranged a taxi to pick me up, met me at the start of the trek and introduced me to my guide Omar and chef Rachid who would be with me over the 6 day trek. The itinerary was challenging at times and we changed it as we went along as needed. The days were filled with amazing sceneries- remote villages, stunning valleys and majestic mountains. The food was better than most places in Marrakech- Rashid is a genius chef and I ate very well - maybe too well ! Omar is an outstanding guide- caring kind good humoured and very knowledgeable. Everyone I met was friendly and the trek gave me a great insight into the Amazigh culture and language. The accommodation chosen was sometimes basic but always comfortable and interesting. Hassan checked in regularly to make sure all was well. At the end of the trek I stayed in Hassan’s family guest house in Imlil and was treated to amazing hospitality kindness and fabulous food. I would have no hesitation in going again and hope to do so in future Inshallah.Show more

  Hiking with my mountain guide Hassan and Muhammad (the Cook / Mule handler) through the Altas Mountains was a great experience! The Landscape is amazing, ist was so interesting to see these old villages in the mountains, and reaching the Top of Toubkal was the highlight of it all. I got a lot of insight in the way of living in this area, and the best food I've ever had while hiking! So Hassan is a real good mountain guide, and Muhammad a great cook! If you think of booking that trip: Just to it! I can highly recommend it!!Show more

  A truly fantastic week trekking in the Atlas Mountains, through wonderful valleys and mountain passes, culminating in climbing Mount Toubkal. Mohammad, my guide, helped reshape my tour as the original route was closed, he was really so helpful, a great cook, and couldn't do enough for me. The highlight being a stay inn the remote "Le Piney" refuge, a tiny mountain hut we were fortunate enough to have all to ourselves.Show more
