Itinerary

Nairobi to Amboseli
A driver picks you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning, and you'll drive through open savanna with scattered local homesteads and Masai herds heading toward Amboseli National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch, then have a chance to rest at the lodge before heading out for an afternoon game drive. During that drive, you're likely to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and other wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro rising up in the background. The mountain provides a constant backdrop throughout the afternoon.

- Day 2
Amboseli to Nairobi
This morning starts before sunrise for an early game drive, which is typically when Mount Kilimanjaro shows off its distinctive look with snow-capped peaks turning pink as the sun comes up. Large elephant herds cross the Amboseli plains during these early hours, making it a prime time for watching them move through the landscape. After the drive, you'll head back to the lodge for breakfast, pack your things, and then drive back to Nairobi for your departure.
