Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu to Pokhara

    You'll arrive in Kathmandu where your guide meets you. From there, it's a 6-hour drive covering 210 km to Pokhara along mountain roads. Once you reach Pokhara, the rest of the day is yours to rest and get settled into your accommodations before the trek begins.

  2. Day 2

    Pokhara to Chhomrong

    After a 2-hour drive along the winding snake line road through Nayapul and Birethati, you'll start trekking through farm villages where waterfalls dot the landscape. The trail crosses the Kimrong Khola bridge and climbs stone staircases up to Jhinu Danda. From there, you'll keep ascending through terraced farmland to reach Chhomrong, the gateway for the Annapurna Base Camp trek, where you'll see views of Annapurna South, Fishtail, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna III. You'll finish the day at Sinuwa.

  3. Day 3

    Sinuwa to Deurali

    This morning starts with a downhill walk to the river, then you'll cross a short bridge heading up to Sinuwa at 2,330 m. The trek moves through cool forest areas with oak, rhododendron, and pine trees before a steep descent brings you to Bamboo, a small settlement surrounded by bamboo in the Modi River gorge. After more than an hour of gradual climbing, you'll reach Dovan and continue through thick forest to Himalaya Hotel below Huichuli peak and the large Hinko Cave. The day ends with a hike up to Deurali.

  4. Day 4

    Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

    You'll trek steeply up to Hinko Cave, cross old avalanche zones and rocky moraine, then climb toward Deurali while leaving the gorge behind for open country. Following the glacial Modi River, you'll arrive at Machhapuchhre Base Camp at 3,700 m beneath Fish Tail Mountain's North Face. After lunch, you'll enter the Annapurna Sanctuary and spend about two hours climbing to Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m. The afternoon and evening are free to relax and take in the peaks surrounding you.

  5. Day 5

    Annapurna Base Camp to Sinuwa

    Start early to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna range while you're at base camp. After spending time in the Annapurna Sanctuary, you'll head back downhill retracing your route through tree lines with a few short climbs, eventually reaching Bamboo by midday. From Bamboo, you'll exit the Modi River gorge and climb through forested areas to Khuldi-ghar, then take a short gradual walk to Sinuwa at 2,330 m where you'll stop for the night.

  6. Day 6

    Sinuwa to Pokhara

    You'll trek down from Sinuwa to Chhomrong Khola and cross a short suspension bridge before climbing back to Chhomrong village. From there, it's a long descent to Jhinu, a ridge-top village with views of the surrounding landscapes and green rolling hills. Stone stairs lead down to Nayapul, and from there you'll drive back to Pokhara, wrapping up the trek portion of your trip.

  7. Day 7

    Pokhara to Kathmandu

    After breakfast, you'll drive back to Kathmandu. Later in the day, you'll tour Swoyambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square to see some of the city's cultural sites. In the evening, you'll hang out at a bar restaurant before spending the night in Kathmandu.
