This was not such a long trip – just five days – yet it left us with truly great memories thanks to the wonderful local team at Legend Travel. From the moment we arrived in Hanoi, everything felt well taken care of. We spent two enjoyable days exploring the capital’s Old Quarter, temples and street food scene before heading to the stunning landscapes of Ninh Binh, often called “Halong Bay on land.” The limestone karsts, rivers and peaceful countryside were a real highlight. The overnight cruise on Halong Bay itself was the perfect finale. Floating among the dramatic rock formations, enjoying the calm waters and beautiful scenery made the short trip feel complete and special. Legend Travel proved so friendly and helpful throughout. The hotels were of good quality and comfortably located, and the cruise was also of a high standard – clean, comfortable and with attentive service. Mr Danny met us each day to make sure there were no problems. We were able to see and experience every activity or site that was promised in the tour. The lodging provided was excellent and was centrally located. The individual guides at the various sites were easily understandable and very knowledgeable. Our tour included an overnight on Halong Bay. The boat was very nice with good food and plenty of activities.   Regarding the end of the tour on Day 5, we aim to offer maximum flexibility for our guests, as many choose to either extend their stay in Hanoi or move on to other destinations. For this reason, the standard tour arrangement concludes with a drop-off at a central location in Hanoi, and the airport drop-off transfer is not included in the core package price. If you and your family would like to be dropped off at the airport, we would be delighted to arrange a comfortable private car transfer for you. The supplementary cost for this service is: $40 USD per car, per way (for a group of 3 adults).
