From the moment we arrived in Hanoi, the trip was smooth, well-organized, and exceeded all expectations. A huge thank you to Danny Nguyen, who coordinated every detail with professionalism and genuine care—his responsiveness made everything so easy and stress-free. The highlights included the stunning beauty of Halong Bay, the cultural richness of Hanoi, and the breathtaking scenery of Ninh Binh. Our only regret was not staying one more night in Halong Bay—it was truly magical! The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made each destination come alive. Accommodations were comfortable, the food was delicious, and transportation was always on time. This was our first trip with Legend Travel Group, but definitely not the last.   Loved the tour, drivers were always on time and Danny was excellent with his organisation of all our tour days. Did think an extra day in Sapa would be nice so you could travel up the mountain on the chairlift. All other tours were great with enough time. The only other improvement I could see is Hotel Du Park seems more like a 4 star hotel than 5 star. Otherwise was excellent.Show more

  We were having a hard time with communication especially with the hotel staff in SaPa. We checked in and getting settled in our room when a staffer knocked into our room and were told that we were given the wrong room. The itinerary didn’t indicate that a guide will meet us at the hotel in SaPa for lunch. We were wondering around town in the cold and rain looking for a place to eat only to find out that they do not take credit cards. Thanked God we went back to the hotel in desperation, and there was someone there waiting for us. We had lunch at past 3 pm already. I wished that the itinerary would be more specific for instructions.Show more

  Overall our trip was really great! Danny was super helpful and efficient in how he communicated. The drivers arrived on time ( sometimes early)- if there was any delays Danny told me ahead of time. Tour guides spoke good English and were more than willing to answer any questions we had. Danny is a great coordinator; however, some of our tours in itself were underwhelming, very touristy, or just unclear on expectations. For example in Sapa, we signed up to trek.. which we greatly enjoyed. BUT the trek should’ve been marked as hard, considering we needed assistance in getting down the mountain (like straight down the mountain), with no trail and ankle deep mud. I will also take into consideration, during the time we were in Vietnam it was holiday- so many things were closed. We enjoyed it overall, Danny was great as a coordinator. If we had to make a change, it would’ve been the cruise.Show more

  First and foremost, I want to give a shoutout to Danny Nguyen. Danny was awesome. very responsive, kind and a great problem solver. The places that the so-called tour went to is a good itinerary. However, Sapa felt really rushed and not worth the 11-12 hours there and back on a bus with strangers and a driver who spoke no English. The tour of Hanoi was a bit too ambitious and didn't give enough justice to a couple of places. We didn't even make it to the Hoa Lo Prison. I assumed I would traveling with a set group of 12 but this was not the case. My travel buddies changed on a daily basis. Traveling alone, i would have preferred a more stable group. Halong Bay was lovely and the perfect amount of time for me.Show more

It was great to have different guides in the various places we visited as they had a lot of personal knowledge from growing up in the area. Cha, our guide in Sapa, was from a local tribe & taught me some of their language, and Guang, our Hanoi guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining. My dietary requirements were taken care of in each place, which made things a lot easier too.
