  Please note that this was not a traditional (escorted) tour company but rather a tour coordinating company which subcontracts daily the transportation and tours with third-party service vendors. Quality of each guide varied based on who is subcontracted in each city. We experienced both good and not-so-good guides. While you can text your coordinator if you run into any issues, your tour host will not be with you on the tour. We did text and got a refund for the tickets to one of the segment that was cancelled. Other minor issues arose but it was easier to deal with it ourselves in-person. Hotel quality is based on what you pay… we booked a three-star tour and got three-star lodging. Those with better location were not good quality while nicer hotels were farther from center. We experienced both on this tour. Note that if your tour includes TK123 hotel in Hanoi, ask for a different hotel as it was dirty in terms of rooms, common area and breakfast, with poor customer service. In the future, I would more likely book a traditional tour or coordinate trips on our own. All logistics aside, Vietnam is a must-visit destination with beautiful scenery, rich culture, and delicious food at a fraction of the price of our domestic or European trips. I would highly recommend a visit to Vietnam!Show more

The TK-123 Hotel is generally well-received. If you had specific cleanliness issues, please provide photos or documentation to support your claims. -----------4-------------- Similarly, breakfast at 3-star hotels differs from 5-star hotels. We charged for two adults and two children but provided full adult travel services for everyone.
