- Day 1
Airport to Arusha
You'll be picked up from the airport and driven to your hotel in Arusha, which takes around 45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Once you arrive, you can spend the rest of the day however you'd like, whether that's relaxing on the hotel grounds, swimming in the pool, or joining in on other activities they offer.

Landmarks/POIs Arusha - Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
This morning you'll head from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for your first game drive. The park is one of Tanzania's largest and you'll see large elephant herds, tree-climbing lions, and distinctive baobab trees throughout the landscape. The Tarangire River flows year-round, which makes it crucial for wildlife survival, particularly during dry seasons when it's the only water source in the area.

- Day 3
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
You'll start early with breakfast at your camp before sunrise, then drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. After registering at Loduare Main Gate, you'll descend into the crater for game viewing and a picnic lunch on the crater floor. The crater holds Africa's highest concentration of animals, with rare black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, and countless bird species. By late afternoon you'll drive back up to the crater rim and check into a lodge for the night.

- Day 4
Ngorongoro to Central Serengeti
After breakfast you'll travel to central Serengeti National Park, where the wildlife is particularly healthy and includes the Big Five. You'll have a picnic lunch during the day and then continue watching for animals as the afternoon moves into evening.

- Day 5
Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti (Mara Area)
You'll spend the entire day doing game drives in the Mara area to watch the great migration. The Wagakuria area has exceptionally high numbers of resident wildlife. The Mara River is the main feature here, and there's a real possibility you'll see herds crossing north. Keep in mind that actually catching a crossing is difficult and partly depends on being in the right place at the right time.

- Day 6
Northern Serengeti (Mara Area)
After breakfast you'll continue viewing the great migration in the northern Serengeti's Mara area. The Mara River remains the focal point, with chances to see herds crossing north and potentially back south a few days later. Spotting a crossing requires patience and good timing since it's challenging to predict. The landscape around you includes kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains much like Kenya's Masai Mara.

- Day 7
Northern Serengeti (Mara Area)
You'll drive through northern Serengeti again after breakfast, focusing on migration viewing in the Mara area. The Mara River offers opportunities to see herds crossing, though finding them is very difficult and often comes down to timing and luck. Around you the terrain shifts between kopjes, wooded areas, riverine vegetation, and open plains.

Serengeti to Airport
It's your last morning on the Serengeti plains. After a full breakfast you'll take in the final views of the landscape before heading to the airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport for your onward travel.
