  Our group did the Gokyo Lakes to Everest Base Camp trip. Discovery World Trekking was simply fantastic. I would highly recommend their services. Paul made planning the trip easy and stress-free. Every detail of the trip was covered and he was very responsive to our every question. Our guides and porters were professional, knowledgeable and very attentive to our every need. They truly cared for us. We were able to just enjoy our epic journey knowing that every detail of our trip was taken care of. When we needed help with a sickness, route finding or transportation they knew just what to do. We were able to really bond with our guides and porters and they made the trip fun. On our way out of Lukla, our flights were cancelled and we needed a helicopter to connect with our flights home. Paul somehow found us a helicopter quickly despite many other people waiting. We absolutely had an epic trip and Discovery World Trekking made it happen.Show more

You get to enjoy the scenic views during your hike while your safety is well taken care of by a guide from the company. The CEO, Paul, have been really great and friendly handling the admin matter. My guide was Man Singh who is very experienced and knowledgeable, he provides a lot information and answers any of your queries during the trek. Moreover, they will take care of your safety at every step of your journey.Show more

My wonderful and experienced guide (Mr Mansing) has made the trek very enjoyable for me, providing me with insights about the various scenic mountains, as well as caring for my safety and well-being at every step of the way.   I visited Nepal as a new international traveller and was very pleased with the professionalism, knowledge, as well as the kindness and heart of this group. They were always eager to help with any concern and to ensure that we had great experiences. They were very attentive to acclimatizing us properly to altitudes and we all made it to Everest Base Camp. I additionally felt strong enough to summit Kala Pathar with the company of our excellent guide and porter. I'm very grateful for an amazing experience and memories made in Nepal and credit much to this group. I'd recommend them many times over to anyone looking for something similar in Nepal! They additionally help us capture photographs and gave us a very nice and unexpected medal to honor our accomplishments.Show more

  I had one of the best experiences with Discovery World Tracking .Paul who’s a manager gave me a great experience from start to finish, he kept in contact with me before I arrived through emails answering any questions i had. As soon as I arrived to Kathmandu there was a long wait getting through customs but i was still welcomed with a smile by my guide, Manish Gurung who had waited in the hot sun for 2hrs for me and then took me to Paul’s office . Paul explained everything about my coming Everest base camp track and made me feel so comfortable about everything. Prem was very professional making sure I was safe an enjoying myself on the trip there's not much more he could of done, he treated me like one of the family. On the way back from base camp Paul went out his way to phone to congratulate me witch i thought was nice. I m planning on coming back for my 40th birthday an will most definitely be using Discovery and would recommend Paul an his team to anyoneShow more

  I just completed the Everest base camp trek through Discovery World Trekking and has the most amazing time. Paul, the owner is extremely organized and makes sure that everything is taken care of. He took care of the permits, housing, jackets, sleeping bags etc. I did the trek with two friends and we loved it. Our guide Dol was the best. He was so kind and helpful and was always making sure we were safe. He made me feel very comfortable the whole time. Our porters Gokul and Amrit were also amazing, kind, and fun to trek with. I had the best experience, I hope to return to Nepal to do the Everest Base Camp trek again with Discovery World Trekking.Show more

  Booked my trek with Discovery World Trekking to hike EBC. My guide, Paul met me at the airport and brought me to the office. I was a day late getting into Kathmandu but not to worry Paul made sure I was ok and that I was well informed. I had to leave in the middle of the night to catch the bus to Ramachhap and Manish was at my hotel waiting for me. Once we got to Lukla my porter Bjay and guide Saroj was there to greet us and from this point on the two of them took such great care of me. Traveling alone they were always with me and making sure I was good. This trek is a difficult trek and I was successful with the help of these two!! On acclimation days Bjay even carried my backpack so I would be successful. Great experience, wonderful country. I highly recommend Discovery World Trekking for any treks in NepalShow more

  I wanted to do the trekking to Everest Base Camp. Online I found Discovery World Trekking and the reviews looked good. It is all true! The agency is really helpful and takes care of everything. Also the communication before, while and after the trekking is really clear. Our guide, Saroj, is the best guide I ever had. He is professional, kind, caring, helpful, funny which made this trek possible with his constant encouragement and assistance. The trekking was hard but the guide and porter helped us true! Every day the guide organized breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was nice not to think about stuff as ‘where can we sleep, eat and drink’. Also it is great to have a guide who can teach you the name’s of the mountains, and Sherpa culture. On top of everything we got a beautiful medal when we arrived at Everest Base Camp. It was a long and hard day but I was so proud when I got the medal! It really felt I was on top of the world!! I would definitely recommend Discovery World Trekking. It is an amazing company that can help you trough the trekking!Show more

  Can't Thank You More DWT Team! Just like last time, Paul was informative and quick to respond. He made planning this trek VERY easy. When we couldn't get out to Lukla for two days (because of the weather), Paul was very good with reassuring us that things would work out (we were on a time constraint) and made arrangements accordingly. In the end, our 14-day trek turned into a 15 day trek. Nonetheless, we made it!!! I cannot say enough about our guide Mansing. He was amazing! He made this trek possible with his constant encouragement, patience and many jokes to get us though the tough parts of the trail. And the mini snicker bars after a tough climb were a great touch! He was knowledgeable about the trail and defined the term "Nepali flat" quit well for us (once you do EBC, you'll know what I'm talking about :p). He would go out of his way to make sure we were okay and comfortable all the time. Our porter, Manjit was such a pleasure to have around. He was also very patient with us and would also make sure we were okay all the time. And his singing voice was a bonus on the trail. And how could I forget about the mini dance party we had on the trail on the way down. These two were so great to trek with!! I also wanted to mention that DWT went out of their way to make our trip extra special. We made it to EBC on the day of my friends 30th birthday. Mansing and Manjit made it possible for a cake to be there when we got there. It was amazing! Singing happy birthday to my friend, at EBC with a bunch of strangers that have just been on the same journey with us is something I will never forget. It was incredibly special. Thank you DWT for yet another memorable trip!!!Show more
