Itinerary
- Day 1
Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi
After an early breakfast at 7am, your guide picks you up from your hotel or the airport in Entebbe or Kampala. From there, you'll drive toward Bwindi Impenetrable in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, there are a few stops worth your time: first you'll visit a local drum and craft community to see traditional work, then swing by the Equator for photos and picking up souvenirs. By midday, you'll grab lunch in Mbarara town before continuing on. Later in the afternoon, you arrive at your lodge where you can settle in and rest up before the next day's gorilla trekking.

- Day 2
Bwindi
This morning starts with breakfast, and then you're heading to park headquarters by 8am for a briefing about what to expect. After that, your trek begins through hilly forested terrain as you follow your assigned gorilla family's trails. The whole experience takes 2 to 8 hours total, with about an hour of direct contact with the gorillas themselves. Once you return to headquarters, you'll receive your trekking certificate. After that, you're transferred to Lake Bunyonyi where you can spend the evening relaxing by the water.

- Day 3
Lake Bunyonyi to Entebbe/Kampala
You'll have an early breakfast before checking out and beginning your return to Entebbe or Kampala. The drive takes you through rolling hills with terraced landscapes and lush vegetation throughout. Lunch happens in Mbarara, and there's another stop at Mbambire where you can check out the drum makers' work. By late afternoon, you arrive back at your hotel or the airport for your return flight.
