Our plane landed on time at 09:50, we were also expected at the airport. We were told that the next speedboat to the accommodation would leave at 15:00 ???? 5 hours waiting time or they would take a seaplane at 13:00 for 466$. We decided to take the seaplane. The take-off was at 14:30 to a neighboring island, from there by boat to Medhufushi. Arrival after 16:00. no sorry..... Also the departure, badly prepared. When asked when the speedboat would take us to Male, the answer was "we can only tell you on the evening before departure". Since our next provider needed the information to pick us up - bad. Snorkeling equipment or stand-up paddle included according to the booking, here at the reception the answer is, not with us, contact your provider. 19$/day Medhufushi, an island without a house reef - too bad, but we wouldn't have booked it that way. For snorkeling, a boat leaves once a day for 2 hours. - Chris· May 5th, 2022We stayed at water villa resort arranged by Paylesstoursindia at the end March for 7 days and didn't want to leave!! The Island and hotel were beyond our expectations!! We loved the hotel for its chic simplicity and cleanliness. We had a wonderful beach bungalow with the beach and house reef at our doorstep. I have never seen so many fish, the house reef is amazing for snorkelers. What really makes this hotel is the staff, we don't want to pick out any one in particular as they were all so friendly and helpful which really made our stay special. The barmen were particularly good, one had a wicked sense of humour! The choice of food at the buffet was wonderful and varied every day and particularly liked the Maldivian corner. Our daughter was very impressed with the diving center and had some incredible dives. We also appreciated the extra day trips on offer and the free snorkel house reef tour with a marine biologist. There is also a small spa where a very a neck massage was very welcome after our long flights. A very big thank for this unforgettable holiday in paradise.
