    Yvonne

    Asked on February 11th, 2026

We are looking to travel from Rio via Santiago to Calama so we can spend a night under the stars in the Atacama. My question is; is this something you do as a single tour or part of a larger tour and if you do this can you advise the itinerary so I can factor this in.

    Tour Details
    • Trip to South AmericaOperatorWritten February 2026

We can absolutely organize this as a standalone Atacama tour, and we can also create custom itineraries based on your travel preferences and timeframe.

To help us design the best plan for you, could you please let us know how many nights you'd like to spend in Atacama?

If you'd like, we can also explore the possibility of including a night specially arranged for stargazing or spending time in the desert environment as part of your itinerary.

Wife and I, both over 50, looking to see the stars! Plus a few other things you might suggest before heading back to Santiago via Calama on or near 13th Jan.

Presume you can provide detail, accommodation tours and likely cost?

    • Trip to South AmericaOperatorWritten February 2026

The price is in USD per person.
The services are all in private except for the Stargazing Tour, which we can quote in private but our usual recommendation is taking it as a shared services. It usually is done by small groups.

We did put the desert camp as an optional service so you can check it.

Hotels are not included yet as we do not have their tariffs for 2027. We can quote it if you'd like but please note that it'll be subject to change based on availability.
