  1. Day 1

    Cusco to Soraypampa

    Start point
    Cusco, Cusco, Peru (We will pick you up from your hotel in Cuzco, 04:30 - 04:55)

    • Trek to Soraypampa (9 km, approximately 3 hours)
    • Hike to Humantay Lake (5 km round trip, approximately 3 hours)
    • View Humantay Glacier and sunset

  2. Day 2

    Soraypampa to Chawllay

    • Trek to Salkantay Pass (7 km, approximately 4 hours)
    • Descent to Huayra Machay (approximately 3 hours)
    • Trek through cloud forest to Chawllay Village (9 km, approximately 3 hours)

  3. Day 3

    Chawllay to Lucmabamba

    • Stop at family hamlets to sample local fruits and vegetables
    • Explore Lucmabamba town

    Lucmabamba to Aguas Calientes

    • Cross Oroya canopy bridge
    • Walk along train tracks to Aguas Calientes

    • For any tour departing before May 11th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 11th, 2026, a minimum payment of 100% is required to confirm your booking with Machupicchu USA. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Machupicchu USA will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Machupicchu USA" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
