Has anyone booked on for the 15th December trek yet? Would you run it even if it's just me?! Would anyone be in Kathmandu on the 14th to help me get any equipment for the trek? Would I be able to fly back from Pokhara on the way back to save a little time?

14th of December 3 people booked a tri day 1: arrival in Kathmandu and day 2 15th drive to pokhara. if only one person also run this trip. yes if you take a flight about 25minutes so you can save time. yes we will help to check gear etc.

1) Will I need to be able to carry all my gear on my back for the 8 days trek ?

2) I will make my own way to KTM from India and I will want to spend a few days in KTM before the trek. Is there any chance to join the tour in KTM or Pokhara ?

Just wanted to check if the hours indicated next to each day are the amount of hours of trekking. For example, on day three should we expect to walk for 5 to 6 hours? Or on day five is it 6 to 7 hours of walking?

How difficult is it? I feel comfortable walking on flat land for long stretches, but steep climbs I know will be difficult for me due to my weight.

The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is a moderately challenging trek suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness. The trek involves both gradual ascents and some steep sections, especially as you approach Poon Hill for sunrise. You may find the uphill sections demanding, but taking it at a steady pace with breaks as needed should make it manageable. It's advisable to start some training beforehand to improve your endurance and leg strength. Hiring a porter to carry your belongings can also ease the physical strain.

Do you recommend any experience? I do not have mountain trekking trip experience. I only have a couple of trail runnings around elevation gain 800m, one day trekking and a road 100km walk in 2 days. Do you have other trips which are more recommended for mountain trekking beginner? What kinds of training are recommended before the trip?

Yes this trip is very suitable for bignner hikers we highly recommended this trip for you. This one is best and second one is Langtang valley trek. Before traveling to Nepal if you do every day 2 hours hiking it will be perfect this trek. Can do cycling running short hiking etc is best.

Do you recommend any experience? I do not have mountain trekking trip experience. I only have a couple of trail runnings around elevation gain 800m, one day trekking and a road 100km walk in 2 days. Do you have other trips which are more recommended for mountain trekking beginner? What kinds of training are recommended before the trip?

  Yes this trip is very suitable for bignner hikers we highly recommended this trip for you. This one is best and second one is Langtang valley trek. Before traveling to Nepal if you do every day 2 hours hiking it will be perfect this trek. Can do cycling running short hiking etc is best.

  Do I stay in tent and sleeping bag? Or in guest house? Can you share the item list bringing? What kind wearing is recommended if it is early-mid Dec? How much weather degree is expected daytime and nighttime? Is standard trail shoe suitable? Or is higher level shoe necessary? Is my backpack carry support available with extra charge? Is this more common for beginner? Can I charge my mobile phone battery every night time or limited? If I have a mobile data plan, can I connect internet night time?

  There is a teahouse available you will be sleeping at the teahouse there is bed pillow, mattress blankets available all place. Sleeping Bag, Down Jacket and walking poles provided by sherpa Expedition. During the day 8 to 15 c and night -5 to 0 c. Standard trail shoe is suitable for this trek no need high level. There is extra charge for Porter just USD 120 for Porter. Yes you can charge all places every night can charge. For tours departing after March 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 50% is required to confirm your booking with Sherpa Expedition Teams. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
