  Overall, the compny was outstanding. The communication was good, Raj changed my itinerary at my request, and made all the needed reservations at great places. zMy gide, Kamal was super. He was very attentive to my wants and needs and is very knowledgeable about the area. My only disappointment was that I had difficulty understanding his English.Show more

  Escape Himalaya is a master at exceeding expectations! Just like every other trekker, me and my friend have so many high hopes for our journey to the Annapurna Base Camp. I must admit, the team at Escape knows what they are doing. They are a pro at meeting expectations and even exceeding them. Our guide for the trek, Pawan went out of his way to make sure we were really satisfied with the services. He is the kindest person I’ve ever known. I don’t remember him eating before us, not even once, neither breakfast nor lunch or dinner. He always made sure we were well fed before he sat down at the table. That was so generous of him. I mean who does that! Coming from a hometown where we only witness the surface, we were initially terrified of the altitude. The suspension bridge crossings scared the hell out of us. Pawan and ours porter shiva both you great person helpful and friendly. was always at our rescue. I have never felt so important. I can’t thank Escape Himalaya enough for the wonderful experience. It was our first time in the mountains Everything was handled with excellent professionalism.   I experienced an excellent trip to Nepal and the Annapurna Base Camp. Raj was the guide for our group and he was extremely helpful and competent. He was knowledgeable, patient, kind and fun. He was able to accommodate different hiking levels and to ensure that I was well looked after when I was not feeling well. He was very encouraging. Nepal is a spectacular country and I would recommend trekking there with Raj as your guide.Show more

  I had an amazing time doing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Escape Himalaya Trek which we did in small team of three trekkers. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an amazing trek, while you pass through villages going each day higher, the climate, landscape and scenery changes, it provides very diverse views of the beautiful region. I can’t put into words how great of an experience it was. I will try to summarize key points, but still, I don’t think I can do justice to EHT and the fun I had. From the first moments, Escape Himalaya Trek was very responsive to all our questions and proposal and allowed us for modifications to the itinerary as well. We received a lot of pre-trip information and had a meeting with the guide before the trip begun. Our guide- Uttam, was also available to help to do any last minute equipment shopping. On the return to Kathmandu, Escape Himalaya Trek also invited us for a dinner and drinks with guides and managers which turned out to be a great night out! Uttam also came to say goodbye on the day of our final return, which was very kind and considerate of him. Overall, I built great connections with Uttam, with my porters and with the company. I felt very reassured that Escape Himalaya Trek could handle any unforeseen circumstances like the flight cancellation. I have a huge trust in EHT and will definitely book with them again when returning to Nepal, which will happen soon!Show more
