  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll arrive in Kathmandu and connect with your representative at the airport. After getting transferred to your hotel in the city center and checking in, you might have time to walk through Thamel's streets and get your bearings in the neighborhood.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu

    Your guide takes you to four UNESCO World Heritage Sites today: Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Durbar Square, and Swayambhunath. You'll also meet your trekking guide who'll go over what to expect during the trek ahead.

    Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding

    After breakfast, you'll fly from Kathmandu to Lukla on a scenic mountain flight with Himalayan views, including Mount Everest. From there, you'll trek to Phakding with your guide, passing through the Dudh Kosi Valley and seeing peaks like Mt Nupla, Kusum Kanguru, and Mount Kwongde Range.

    You're entering Sagarmatha National Park now, trekking uphill and downhill through villages with Rhododendron, Magnolia, and fir flowers. Cascading waterfalls line the route as you make your way to Namche.

    Namche

    Namche to Tengboche

    Chukhung to Dragnag

    After breakfast, you're ascending Cho-La Pass. The top gives you rewarding panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Coming back down is steep and challenging, so your legs will feel the work.

    Dragnag to Everest Base Camp

    You'll trek to Everest Base Camp today via narrow, rocky paths. The terrain changes between rocky dunes, moraines, and streams. You'll pass the Italian Pyramid before reaching the iconic Everest Base Camp.

    Kalapathar to Gorakshep to Lobuche

    Leaving Lobuche, you'll trek downhill by the Khumbu Glacier. The trail has religious significance with stupas and Buddhist tombstones. Awi Peak looms in the distance, creating impressive scenery throughout the day.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before April 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after April 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of $99 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Max Guide. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
