Best were the guides: Abu in Senegal and Martina in Ghana. They had a profound knowledge of both countries respectively and tried the best to accommodate us with places ,food and shopping. Martina was going above and beyond looking for strange food that we wanted to try, good pictures we wanted to take. The day before flying back home I tested positive for Covid. Although their duties as hosts were complete, Abu and his company helped us find a hotel and negotiated the price for us to help with the extra expense for our extended stay. We stayed an extra 2 weeks until we were both able to test negative. During that time, he stayed in constant contact with us, made sure we were ok and helped us at the testing facilities to get us to the front of the line each time.
