West Africa Tours & Trips
It's time to visit Cotonou's lively Haie Vive neighborhood, where markets are full of color. Canoe through the Adjara Black River while animals call from thick vegetation, and visit the one-of-a-kind stilt village of Ganvie on Lake Nokoue, where whole communities live on the water. Follow the sad historic Route of the Slaves in Ouidah, and hike to the top of Mount Gemi in Ghana for amazing views.

My wife and I really enjoyed this private tour through 4 countries in West Africa which also included the Ouidah Voodoo Festival in Benin. Our driver/guide organised everything perfectly for us and appointed local guides for the major attractions in each place. We take away with us a true experience of a lifetime together with a deep insight into the past, present and future of this part of the amazing African continent.

Olives Travel and Tour Ghana directed by Prince Adam was a great tour and life changing. Prince navigated us through the highlights of our west African tour of Ghana, Togo and Benin. Whether it was immigration board crossing into Togo or visiting the communities on the Ganvie lake village in Benin, the experience was life changing. The historical lessons learn will forever be our heart... we will return hopefully next year to explore more. Steve and Willa

Looking at the feedback from our Morocco travelers, Intrepid comes out particularly strong for their cycling tours. Their guide Said consistently gets mentioned by name - he's knowledgeable about the routes, local culture and really goes above and beyond for the groups. Marrakech Dream Trips has built quite a reputation through their driver Hicham. Our travelers often highlight how his careful driving and clear communication made them feel secure, especially on those winding mountain roads. He's good at explaining what's coming up next and adjusting the pace to match the group's needs. Timeless Tours gets mixed reviews - they've got some excellent guides like Mustapha who brings humor and depth to the tours, and their itineraries cover all the key spots. But we've heard from several travelers about ups and downs with the accommodations - some hotels are great while others need improvement. The guide quality also varies depending on who you get assigned. Between these three, there's a clear pattern in what makes tours work well in Morocco - it's usually down to having experienced local staff who really know their stuff and care about getting it right. The personal touch from guides like Said, Hicham and Mustapha seems to make all the difference in how people experience the country.
