First, in this season (July), what are the hot air balloon pricing looking like? Second, my group was wondering if we'd be able to ride an ATV/quad bike or similar across the desert instead of the camels? Is that something you are able to make happen?

Hot Air Balloon Marrakech - From USD 225.00 per person and quad bikes are not offered as a replacement for the camel ride. There is the Merzouga Land Cruiser Desert Excursion optional activity for an additional 700MAD per person on day 5; you'll be driven around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in land cruiser cars, taking in the views of the seemingly endless sea of sand. Pass a kohl mine en route to the village of Khamlia. Witness the delightful sounds of the African music of Gnawa — played by members of the community — as you enjoy a cup of mint tea with the locals.

Will the nightly sleeping arrangements always include 2 separate beds for us?

How will meals be made available on those days that do not include lunch or dinner since all days seem to include breakfast?

If you are travelling solo, you will automatically be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender. In that case, a twin room with separate beds will be provided.

I am planning to book this tour of May2-9 but on May 9th, I would like to go back to Casablanca early in the morning to explore Casablanca and stay overnight there before you take us to the Casablanca airport the following date, May 10th, to catch a flight to Lisbon in the afternoon. Please let me know if you could organize it and how much extra you would charge us.

We do offer a departure transfer to Casablanca on the final day of the tour (9th May) for an additional 360.00 CAD. We would only be able to transfer to the airport however, and don't offer post tour accommodation in Casablanca, only Marrakech. So it may be more convenient to arrange this independently.

If you're planning to travel to Morocco and want to see multiple areas of the beautiful country, this is a great option. Having guaranteed transportation for the duration of the trip was a huge appeal to me, and one of the main reasons I chose a tour. With our driver Eunice, I always felt safe and secure, and he was always very professional and courteous. The accommodations were nice; every place was clean and comfortable, most showers were piping hot, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfasts met or exceeded my expectations. Even when we had some earlier start times, breakfast was always available and the coffee was good. And when you have the option to get juice somewhere, take it! So good! Being able to see so much of lovely Morocco was remarkable, made all the more amazing by our guide, Hicham. His knowledge of the country was endless, as was his kindness and patience. This experience would not have been the same without him, and we felt lost without him the moment the tour was over. A huge thank you to Hicham, for making this an unforgettable experience and sharing so much of himself with us. This tour was amazing! There’s honestly not a thing I would change. Our guide, Hicham, was exceptional. He was so organized, really took care of us, when there was a problem with something out of his control he still took it upon himself to fix it, was so knowledgeable, and executed the 8 days perfectly. He made the trip fun while also ensuring we got the most out of all of it. Even though it was Ramadan and he was fasting he was still so on top of things. I especially enjoyed during the trip that the locals we met were compensated and expecting us so I never felt we were intruding or unwelcome. From exploring the medinas, to riding a camel in the Sahara, to meeting a nomadic family, to getting to watch trades like mosaic artists, herbalists, weavers, etc. and all of the amazing sights in between I truly can’t pick a favorite experience. I learned and saw so much. The stays were all great. Maybe one lukewarm shower and a few rooms without working WiFi during the entirety of the stay which was better than I anticipated. Usually though the showers were hot and the WiFi was great. The rooms always had towels as well as at minimum hand soap and usually also shampoo and body wash so you only need to pack a minimal amount of that. They were also all so pretty! The breakfasts start out bigger then become simpler which again was to be expected. I was vegetarian and I did not have an issue with the meals. As far as meals that were not included there was a nice variety of local restaurants as well as international so that was nice. The transportation was wonderful with our driver Yunus, who was always speedy but safe! This tour was life changing and I’ll never ever forget it. If you’re thinking about it, absolutely go!Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
