We can only book the Hot Air Balloon on Day 8 however you are more than welcome to contact the supplier directly and book it for day 7 instead. After soaking up the sights, refuel with an authentic Amazigh breakfast in a Moroccan tent. What is the additional costs as a single traveller on the Mount Toubkal climb? On the Mount Toubkal climb, do we just carry a daypack and our luggage is transported to each overnight location?

All our tours are standard twin share rooming however if you wish to room alone, you can add a single supplement for AUD 189 (we have 2 left for the departure 14 June). Trekking mules will carry your larger bags as well as tents and equipment. Luggage is limited to 12kg per person for the trek, and bags must be soft duffle bags or frameless backpacks. Any additional luggage you bring with you can be left in storage at the hotel in Marrakech till you're back.

Can my children do this adventure if they are only 12 and 10?

There is the Merzouga Land Cruiser Desert Excursion optional activity for an additional 700MAD per person on day 5; you'll be driven around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in land cruiser cars, taking in the views of the seemingly endless sea of sand. Pass a kohl mine en route to the village of Khamlia. Witness the delightful sounds of the African music of Gnawa — played by members of the community — as you enjoy a cup of mint tea with the locals.

Abdellah was able to take care of any problem, including us needing washing done at one stop and somebody losing a card in an ATM machine at another stop. There were always recommendations for places to eat and excellent communication with our group of nine. The vehicle was great. Very well sized, adequate AC, USB plugs. The hotels were varied, some much better than others. Communication with the company was above average. I will happily complete another G-Adventures tour in the future Can't recommend this tour enough.Show more

This is the worst experience I've ever had in a tour. From poor accommodation, substandard food and being exploited...
This is the worst experience I've ever had in a tour. From poor accommodation, substandard food and being exploited for money as a tourist. The description of the tour did not match the actual events. The guide didn't allow for choice of options to eat and held people hostage to buy dinner at the hotel before we went outside the hotel to find better options. The bus air conditioning didn't work consistently and we were dripping with sweat. I was charged double for a hot air balloon ride by G Adventures when you can get the same thing by yourself for half the price. I am still waiting for the refund as it was canceled. I paid more than others for the tour and the guide had his hand out for tips all the way through at a set amount. I suggest G Adventures pay the staff better and stop telling the guests to pay tips at $600 Dh. Stop exploitation of tourists!!Show more

I cannot, however, give our ceo ismail five stars. It would not do him any justice - he gets 10 stars in my book! We didn't just get a guide in ismail, we got a friend, complete with knowledge and passion for his country that he was more than happy to impart. It is rare in life to find this quality of human being and we were blessed to have found him and had him for ourselves for the duration of this tour. Despite all we saw and did which was in and of itself unforgettable, he was definitely the highlight of the trip and will be missed!Show more
