Our start to the tour was a very disorganized in Casablanca. We were picked up by Nour (our driver). We went to our...
Our start to the tour was a very disorganized in Casablanca. We were picked up by Nour (our driver). We went to our Hotel and were told they were fully booked so we had to go to a different hotel for the first night. Inconvenient as were supposed to be booked 2 nights at same Hotel. Our itinerary indicated that a tour guide would come pick us up in the afternoon....we were so confused, didn't know which hotel we were getting picked up from. The front desk staff were no help. Didn't know anything! Turns out, no guide came to either Hotel! We wasted our afternoon waiting for someone that didn't show up! There was a definite breakdown in communication here! We were so tired, would have preferred to rest rather than wait for a tour guide that wasn't going to show! The next morning our driver Nour (whose English was minimal) came to take us around Casablanca. We emailed the tour company and were told he was our guide! This we found very deceptive as Nour was a driver... a very good driver but he barely spoke English! He dropped us to the mosque where we had to pay admission (itinerary indicated that all entrances were covered). We had paid extra for a guide in Casablanca, and this was not delivered! So the start to our trip was not good..... Things got better.... We were met with English speaking tour guides at the other cities who were all great. Especially Ali in Rabat and Fatima Zara (Fez)…. both excellent guides full of knowledge. We did request that Nour drive us to Marrakesh instead of taking the train. I will say this was accommodated with ease. we got very comfortable with Nour… He was an excellent driver (polite, accommodating and friendly) we managed to "chat" with him with broken English and hand gestures! I would refer Tour Radar, but I would make sure that every detail (hotels/tour guides/pick up times) are sorted out before the trip.Show more

  Yes, there is a similar train that leaves at different times during the day. There is A TGV fast train from Tangier to Casablanca and then a regular train from Casablanca to Marrakech.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
