We paid an extra USD 1,000 for a private tour for two, yet a third participant was added without our consent, so the private tour we paid for was not delivered. In addition, we were asked to pay extra on-site for a private bathroom, despite having booked self-contained accommodation. This issue was only resolved after involving TourRadar, which is unacceptable. There were also multiple pricing and itinerary inconsistencies, often communicated outside the platform, creating confusion and lack of transparency. Uganda is stunning, but the operator’s handling of commitments, accommodation standards and “private tour” terms seriously affected the experience. Advice to future travelers: keep everything strictly on TourRadar and double-check accommodation and “private tour” terms.Show more

Bosco’s expertise, adaptability, and ability to handle unforeseen changes (such as activity schedule modifications) made our journey even better than expected. His extensive knowledge of the parks and wildlife, combined with an uncanny ability to locate animals and birds, allowed us to see far more than we had imagined. We had choosen this country because in addition to the big 5 we had the trekking of gorillas and chimpanzees, it is a real pleasure for animal lovers. We chose tourradar because of their reviews, the best overall prices and due to not knowing any local companies. You can easily talk to someone by phone in case you have the need. As for things to improve, I found the price breakdown confusing and I would like to suggest to show total prices for all your tours instead (amount that you pay online plus the local fees). It just makes it easier to understand. As for Uganda, the country is full of beauty and its people are kind, welcoming, helpful, happy and resilient. A tip for fellow new travellers in Uganda, when bringing cash, carry US dollars 2013 and newer, it will make easy your exchange experience. Also know, roads are bumpy! Now, the tour, it exceeded our expectations everytime; accomodation, food, experiences, landscapes, animals and service were among the best we had experienced and all that thanks to our guide Bosco who has the skills to organize it in a way that delivers the best quality in any budget you choose. Bosco is reliable and he was very approachable and flexible to adapt to our requests about itineraries and accomodations. We definitely recommend his company. We made memories for life, and we only regret not having more of it!Show more

Epic trip. Had to take one shot at an African Safari incase can’t go again. After lot of research chose Uganda because that is the only place where in addition to the big 5 you can do mountain gorilla trekking. Saw huge number of elephants on land and water, hippos in huge colonies and even 3 grazing at night in our resort grounds. Saw leopard climbing down tree as well as pride of lions in close proximity. Saw a number of white rhinos giraffes huge herds of water buffalos, Nile crocodiles in addition to multitude of birds. The chimpanzee trek was a good preparation for the ultimate gorilla trek in biwindi impenetrable forest. The people of Uganda are very very courteous and polite. Our tour guide Bosco and driver Vince tried hard to make the trip memorable and were very attentive to our needs. Strongly recommend .Show more

My daughter and I have just returned from an 11 day trip with Enchanted Safaris. This is a small local company and I would certainly recommend them The trips were very well organised and we saw lots of animals very close up. We went to Uganda specifically to see the Gorillas but I would recommend it for all safaris. It's a beautiful country with lovely people. I have been to Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa and Uganda takes some beating. The accommodation is pretty basic but always very clean. Walking to the toilets at night with a guide and seeing hippos in the grounds will stay with me for a while, as will a large elephant walking through the grounds at breakfast time. i am sure Bosco could arrange other accommodation but clearly that will increase the cost. Food throughout was very good, always bottled water and we were never offered ice. Our guide Vincent was very good, helpful and very knowledgeable. there was only us on the trip so we had plenty of room in the van. So, go to Uganda, see amazing animals, meet lovely people and use Enchanted, you will love it all.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Enchanted Uganda Safaris Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Enchanted Uganda Safaris Ltd will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
