The itinerary was not followed by the tour company. The afternoon activity on the second day was omitted. Also, I requested for easy gorilla tracking, we did not get one. My wife and I quit the tracking after 3 hours when the gorilla we were tracking went down the crater. It was 12 noon. The ranger said, if we have another day in Rwanda, he will get us an easy gorilla tracking, which means we are not on an easy gorilla tracking. We were the last group to go up the mountain. We were an hour late. I’m 78 years old and my wife is 74.Show more

Dear all, We are very sorry that the gorilla trekking didn't go well but this is beyond the tour company as its the game park that purely handles and is in charge of the trekking and this is what the game warden said; - Clients were were a bit elderly, they couldn't walk faster like younger people even when they were allocated the nearest group. They reached to the gorilla families it was too hot ,much Sun shine and gorillas were moving faster ,running around to hide in the jungle. The park ranger who was guiding them reported the situation to the park management and park management decided to take them back the following day on free of charge gorilla trek but the clients refused because the wife was too tired and that is the same reason they missed out the afternoon activity. They said they were tired and the driver guide preferred to late them rest. We regret such an incident occurred.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 22nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 22nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Oree Safaris. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
