This tour is perfect for people traveling to Europe for the first time it highlights most of the sights iconic to each place. The tour is fast paced and I wouldn’t recommend it to people with mobility issues. Some of the hotels in this tour have stairs especially the one in Rome which has 2 flights of stairs before you get to the front desk.

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten November 2025

Since your departure is still about 221 days away, you'll receive your Tour Leader Announcement closer to the time, typically around 7 to 14 days prior departure. This email will include: The name and contact number of your Tour Leader, Our emergency contact number, A confirmed list of hotels, The final confirmed itinerary, A link to the tour's Facebook group, where you can meet your fellow travelers and Tour Leader, The confirmed meeting point for Day 1.

    • C

      Craig

      TravelerWritten November 2025

On a lot of the days, the itinerary mentions optional excursions available. Can we book those through this company in advance or do we have to wait until we are on the tour?

    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten November 2025

Optional excursions can be booked in advance only if they are available for prebooking. If a particular excursion is not available for prebooking, you can still book and pay for it directly on tour. We recommend checking in advance for any excursions you're especially interested in, so we can confirm availability where possible for 2026. The 2026 excursions will be updated by January 2026.

Flights aren't included, as our tours are land-only packages — you'll just need to make your own way to the starting city and back home from the ending point. What's included is your accommodation for 11 nights in 3–4 star hotels, 17 included experiences, 11 breakfasts and 6 dinners, comfortable air-conditioned coach transport, and a fully guided tour throughout.

  • N

    Nina

    Asked on October 5th, 2025

Can you provide an estimate for how long the rides will be between the cities?

    Transport
    • Expat Explore TravelOperatorWritten October 2025

Driving times can vary depending on traffic and local conditions, but on average, the coach rides between cities are around 2 to 5 hours, with a few longer travel days of up to 6-7 hours when covering greater distances. Rest stops are made regularly along the way for meals, photos, and comfort breaks, so you'll have time to stretch your legs and enjoy the journey between destinations. This balanced pace ensures you can see as much of Europe as possible while still travelling comfortably.

Although we do not have a strict upper limit on age groups, it would depend on the traveler to decide if they wish to join the tour. However, please note that our tours are active in Nature and involves a lot of walking and these walking tours are at times in cobbled stone streets and can take up to 2-3 hours. Also, walking tours may include stairs. If those are not a problem for you, then you are more than welcome to join.

    Asked on September 4th, 2025

I'm interested in this tour for my family of 4 next yr-Sept or October. We have family in Vienna that's why we initially plan to stay with them for 2 nights & they can show us around. The initial places that we wanted to visit are- Vienna, Salsburg, Budapest, Slovenia, Venice, Rome & Barcelona. I know it's hard to get a single tour with this itinerary in mind. When I saw your tour package, it got me interested and maybe there's a way to be able to combine even just the family visit in Vienna with your package tour. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
