Our trek was the 5 day Poon Hill from Pokhara with Bishnu as our guide and was our first adventure of this kind. We had no expertise in climbing and next to no Nepalese - by the time we finished we felt we had tasted the culture and the Himalayas in a way we will always remember. The blend of trekking was fantastic! Some quite physically challenging moments (steps to Ulleri), some moments of real peace in the rhododendron forests and some moments of sheer amazement like Poon Hill itself. All these were taken in at our own pace with Bishnu adding so much ‘know how’ at every turn. The mountain villages are so welcoming and a regularly spaced along the way. Tea/coffee houses galore with some wonderful traditional food and western options if you want. The toilet facilities can be a concern for some - we found most were absolutely fine and none to be worse than many a service station in Britain. The rooms are largely down to your guide’s contacts and availability, Bishnu found us great rooms along the way and also integrated us with the locals, with whom he’s clearly very good friends. Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 2nd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 2nd, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Outshine Adventure. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Outshine Adventure will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
