I am interested in the Everest Basecamp Trek from 18 June next month. I am in India at the moment and could get a flight to Kathmandu on June 15. You offer airport pickup, is that correct? Also if I stay in a different hotel? Or do you have a hotel from June 15? How does this work? Can I book once I am in Kathmandu, or do I have to book from here beforehand?

We will arrange to pick you up as per your time schedule and you can stay at the same hotel or use a different hotel. For this, we can help you. You have to book this tour earlier, as we have to arrange everything like flight tickets and other arrangements.

Is 65 years the oldest you'll accept? My brother (68) and I (73) are both older.

65 years is the general upper limit for this trek but this does not mean we are not accepting travelers above this age. It highly depends on how active you are and how long you can walk every day. If you can walk around 6-8 hours a day then you are fit to take this trip. I would recommend a private trip for you. So, you can go at your pace and stop where you would like, and start at any time you wish.

The service provided by Luxury Holidays in Nepal was excellent, in particular Sherpa Ram who guided us throughout the mountains. Sherpa Ram, the porters Dunbar, Vishnu and Narvin were great as well. Sherpa Ram is experienced, professional, fun and caring all the time. Luxury holidays staff at Katmandu (Resham and Sisir) tried also their best in assisting us with guided tours in Kathmandu and options to travel to other places in the country.
