My partner and I take this tour as a getaway, and it turns out to be both romantic and full of discovery. Delhi is intense at first, but the guide helps us settle in and enjoy the old-world charm. Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise is a moment we both find incredibly moving. Ranthambore is quiet and atmospheric we love the early morning safaris. Jaipur has so much color and history, and we enjoy wandering the local markets together. The hotels give us privacy and comfort, and the driver is respectful and professional. Excellent driver. Excellent breakfasts at all hotels. Accommodation was very good except for a windowless room we had in Delhi. We arrived in Delhi at 5.40 am, well before checkin. We were met and taken to the hotel where they gave us a room to rest in till ours was available. This was much appreciated as we had been travelling for 24 hours. The cultural places we visited were amazing and we had ample time to take it each site. All guides were good.Show more

We just got back from the Luxury Golden Triangle Tour with Ranthambore. We ended up getting a private tour, with just the two of us, which was nice. We had a different local guide with us for each of the stops. Our guide as the Taj Mahal was beyond excellent. He knew all of the best places to get pictures that look like we had a professional photographer. Our driver, Harpal, was the only person who was with us for the entire trip. He was fabulous!! He safely navigated us through the crazy traffic and was always waiting for us exactly when and where we expected him. The other guides were also very good. In hindsight, we would probably skip the Ranthambore leg of the trip. On our first safari we had 6 people in the Jeep, which was extremely tight, and we're not big people. The second drive it was just the two of us, which was much more comfortable. We saw a few deer/antelope and lots of monkeys. Nothing worth the 8.5 hours driving time. Service in the hotels was perfect. The breakfasts were just ok. The dinners we had at the hotels were very good. The pool at our Ranthmbore hotel had exactly one pool chair. Evidently the rest of them were "out for repair." Overall the trip was very good. If I could give 1/2 stars, I would give this trip 4.5 stars. I would travel with VacationsAt again.Show more
