• What are the best times of year to spot tigers on these tours?

  Tiger spotting works best from October to May when it's dry and the plants are less thick in Ranthambore National Park. Based on what other travelers tell us, you'll have the best luck seeing tigers on early morning safaris when temperatures are between 59-77°F (15-25°C). During these months, tigers often come to the water holes to drink, making them easier to find. Just keep in mind the park closes from July to September during monsoon season.

• What type of accommodation will I stay in on a tiger tour?

  Morning safaris (6:00-9:30 AM) often give you better chances to see tigers since they're more active when it's cooler, around 68-77°F (20-25°C). Afternoon safaris (2:30-6:00 PM) give you different light for photos and you might catch tigers heading to drink water. The Ranthambhore National Resort suggests doing both to get the full experience. • How many safari drives will I get on a tiger tour?

  Most tours include 2-3 game drives while you're at the national park.
