what level of fitness is required for this. I cycle a lot and hike...but not that keen on real technical riding or very steep ascents and descents.

Can you tell me on the Challenging days, what the terrain is like and the surface please ? I have done a lot of e biking...around New Zealand, but not mountain biking.

    • Exodus Adventure TravelsOperatorWritten June 2024

The set itinerary is not technical; however, most of this tour is spent at high altitude and sometimes we cycle above 9,845ft (3,000m), where the air is noticeably thinner. Because of this, we recommend you have good fitness levels for this trip.

    Cheryl

    Asked on March 30th, 2023

Would like to consider the biking trip from Altacama to Salta in May 2024. When will the schedule for 2024 be posted. Could you provide the miles biked each day and the elevation of riding for each day of the trip? How many days of actual bike riding? Are dinner meals paid for by the individual?
