We don't have exact start and end times for each day unfortunately as these may change but once on your trip the tour leader can give you more information. Here are a few more details for the daily times spent on the truck and a few timings: Day 1: Transfer to hotel - 45 mins. Day 2: 5-6 hours. Day 3: 45-90 minutes. Day 4: 5-6 hours. Day 5: Free day. Day 6: 6 hours. Day 7: 7 hours. Day 8 & 9: Full days with early AM and late PM game drives. Day 10: 7 hours. Tour at 12h00 and feeding at 14h00. Day 11: 5 hours. Leaves Waterberg at 1pm arrives in Windhoek at 6pm. Day 12: Transfer to airport - 45 mins. These are subject to change and may not be exact but just so you have more of an idea.

Can you provide some additional information, please? Namely, what is the standard of single room accommodation on the tour? Would I be expected to share bathroom facilities, or even be stuck in the usual room under the stairs next to the lift? Also, what type of vehicle is used? Is a single seat available? Or is there a window seat for each traveller?

Day 3 - Transfer into 4x4's, Total 63 km. Day 4 - Scenic drive approximately 345 km, 5-6 hrs. Day 6 - 6 hour drive. Day 7 - Drive approximately 345 km, 7 hrs. Day 10 - Drive approximately 380 km, 7 hrs. Day 11 - Drive approximately 280 km, 5 hrs. Day 12 - Transfer to airport (Truck, 40 km, 45 mins).

Unfortunately there is no availability on the Namibia Lodge Safari on the 6th or the 20th September. There are 3 spaces available on the 4th October 2022 departure. On the 4th October departure there are 8 people booked - with age ranges from people in their 30s (3 people) to 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. As the 4th October 2022 trip departs in under 45 days we would need to request availability with the local agent as a late booking. The Namibia Lodge Safari + Garden Route departure on the 20th September 2022 is fully booked.

One suggestion is to highlight that possibility in trip notes for tour dates where the moon won't be out at night. All the hotels and lodges were very nice and the food was surprisingly good everywhere, including the picnic lunches. Kastro was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be with.Show more
