13 Days in Namibia, incl. Windhoek and Etosha National Park
Across 13 days and 12 key destinations, Namibia unfolds its treasures from Sossusvlei's dunes to Swakopmund's colonial charm and Etosha National Park's wildlife. Guests stay at Arebbusch Lodge in Windhoek, camp under desert stars, and roam Waterberg Plateau's dramatic cliffs.

- Days 1-2
Windhoek to Namib Desert
Begin your journey in Windhoek before traveling southwest through Namib-Naukluft Park to Sesriem. A recent visitor shared: "The vast and empty desert landscapes - miles of nothing and nobody - were truly breathtaking." Get some rest early since tomorrow starts before dawn. Remember to pack warm clothes. Desert nights can be surprisingly cold, dropping below freezing even in summer.

- Days 3-4
Sossusvlei & Swakopmund
Start your day at 5:30 AM to climb Dune 45 for sunrise before the crowds arrive. Visit Dead Vlei to see its ancient petrified trees. Drive to coastal Swakopmund through Walvis Bay where flamingos gather in the lagoon. Many travelers love the dolphin watching: "We saw everything from pelicans to seals to dolphins, and even a southern right whale and calf!"

- Days 5-6
Damaraland & Brandberg
Travel inland to Damaraland and look for desert-adapted elephants near the Ugab River. Check out the ancient rock art at Brandberg, the country's highest peak. One visitor notes: "The 90-minute valley walk to see the White Lady rock painting can be challenging in the heat - bring at least 2L water and wear sturdy shoes with good grip."

- Days 7-9
Etosha National Park
The best wildlife viewing of your trip. Stay near floodlit waterholes for amazing nighttime animal watching. One guest recalls: "Watching 30 elephants silently file down to drink under the stars was unforgettable." Go on game drives early morning and late afternoon when animals are most active. Rest at camp during the hot midday hours.

- Days 10-11
Waterberg Plateau
Visit the stunning Waterberg Plateau which rises 200m above the plains. Explore several walking trails including one to a scenic lookout point. You can also book optional 4x4 game drives. Good advice from a traveler: "The climb to the plateau viewpoint takes about 20 minutes and can be slippery - hiking poles are helpful."

- Days 12-13
Waterberg to Windhoek
Track rhinos at Otjiwa before heading back to Windhoek. Visit the craft markets but consider this tip: "The market in central Windhoek is more relaxed and better value than the tourist-focused ones outside the city." Finish with dinner at Joe's Beerhouse, a local favorite known for its unique atmosphere.

- Cape & Dunes Southbound: Desert Camping & Safari Drives
I am very enthusiastic about the tour. I think it's great that there are groups divided for everything that have to do something different every day, such as cleaning. It is good that we have water available at all times and Privilege has cooked super good food every day. In addition, prev and Tafi were super punctual every day and always adhered to the announced times. In addition, they gave up a great team and I felt safe at all times. Especially because the two were super helpful and the well-being of us participants was super important to them. I thought it was great to learn more about the cultures or landscapes at the campfire in the evening (prev told a lot of history). The communication because of when the first meeting is, I would say rather difficult because in Emil only a time window was specified and I didn't really know who I could ask for the time. So in the future maybe set a fixed time with the guides and then, for example, write 6 p.m. in the Emil. I am absolutely enthusiastic about this type of travel and also about camping because the tents are also super easy to set up and the mattresses are really comfortable. My greatest praise goes to Tafi and Privilege. The two are punctual, respectful, empathetic, organised and good people from the ground up. Thank you for this adventure. I will recommend this tour
- Namibia Signature Journey – Dunes, Wildlife & Wonder (11 Days)
I recently had the incredible opportunity to explore Namibia on a 5-day tour, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. From the towering red dunes of the Namib Desert to the rich wildlife of the safari, every day was packed with awe-inspiring scenery and unforgettable moments. The visit to the dunes was absolutely surreal — climbing up and watching the sunrise over Sossusvlei felt like stepping onto another planet. The vastness, the colors, and the silence of the desert were truly humbling. Our safari was just as impressive. We were lucky enough to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and more in their natural habitats. The guides were not only incredibly knowledgeable but also warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty of their country. Their hospitality made the experience feel safe, seamless, and personal from start to finish. Namibia’s raw beauty, combined with the professionalism and friendliness of our tour guides, made this a trip of a lifetime. I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking to connect with nature, experience unique landscapes, and enjoy a well-organized, truly memorable journey.
- Namibia Discovery
First the good stuff. The driver and guide made a very good team. Lee Roy and Innocent really made our holiday. They went out of their way to make sure we saw everything and explained what we were looking at. They were interested in making our trip memorable. When something that was on the itinerary wasn't available .... they made sure we did something else equally good. Personally, I would go on another trip if these men were running it. Now the not so good stuff. Our transfer from Cape Town airport wasn't waiting for us. We waited an hour and then phoned the number given. A very laid-back person told us that this happens a lot and to 'just get a taxi to the hotel'. (We later met two more people at different stages, whose airport shuttle hadn't shown up. Seems you have a problem to sort out.) Having just had an overnight long haul flight, I wasn't feeling very laid-back at all and was very unhappy about this. Plus, it worried how much else wasn't going to work to plan on this trip. I am still waiting for the refund of the taxi fare by the way. Then we got a flat tyre on the road ... miles from anywhere, obviously! The guys got on with the tyre change, these things happen and we weren't bothered. But the equipment they had for jacking the truck up was pathetic. It was only the fact that a car stopped to help and they had a better jack than we did, that shortened our down-time. When you are ferrying people around a desert region, the equipment should be the highest standard possible. We had been warned that there was no AC in the truck ... but I think you could warn people that the road conditions are very poor too. I hadn't realised that the roads would be so bad. The fridges in the truck stopped working. In fact I think, judging by the smell coming from one of them when the lid was lifted, it had started heating up. Lee Roy took it to a repair shop, twice I think, but couldn't get it fixed. Emptied and cleaned .... but not cold. This meant we had no cold water for drinking and although we had water bottles, they didn't last all day. There was a battery problem too which meant that the chargers in the vehicle didn't work either. Again, Lee Roy had it looked at but the repair shop couldn't fix it. We were pleased to see that the truck was kept clean and swept and frequently washed outside too. Overall, there was more good stuff than not so good. But the not so good stuff could be fixed with a little more attention ... then it would have been wonderful.
