I am very enthusiastic about the tour. I think it's great that there are groups divided for everything that have to do something different every day, such as cleaning. It is good that we have water available at all times and Privilege has cooked super good food every day. In addition, prev and Tafi were super punctual every day and always adhered to the announced times. In addition, they gave up a great team and I felt safe at all times. Especially because the two were super helpful and the well-being of us participants was super important to them. I thought it was great to learn more about the cultures or landscapes at the campfire in the evening (prev told a lot of history). The communication because of when the first meeting is, I would say rather difficult because in Emil only a time window was specified and I didn't really know who I could ask for the time. So in the future maybe set a fixed time with the guides and then, for example, write 6 p.m. in the Emil. I am absolutely enthusiastic about this type of travel and also about camping because the tents are also super easy to set up and the mattresses are really comfortable. My greatest praise goes to Tafi and Privilege. The two are punctual, respectful, empathetic, organised and good people from the ground up. Thank you for this adventure. I had lots of fun on this trip, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. You spend a lot of time on the lando (just about half of each day). Once you get to the camp it's putting your tent together and unpacking the lando. Then at 7pm it's dark outside. In the mornings (sometimes at 5.30 am) you take your tent back down and load everything back onto the lando. In between we were able to do some short hikes and walks, but there wasn't enough time to really explore the country and see the scenery. You have to stick to a schedule and there is no flexibility. Also a lot of the time, when you didn't book any of the extra activities there was absolutely nothing to do. And the activities were often more expensive than previously announced. The kayak tour on orange river eg is 400 and not 300 Rand. What made this trip great was the people. We were really lucky with our group and all got along really well. The two CEO were also really fun and took great care of us.Show more

Great experience as a first G adventures trip. The concept is perfect for a single traveller or with friends. When you don’t need to think about the logistics in a foreing country, booking with G Adventures is the best thing. However, there are a few down times during the trip especially when arriving at a destination. Sometimes there are add ons that are offered but there are not organized by G Adventures. Hence the quality of certain add ons is not at theirs best. G Adventures should revise these add ons before offering to their travellers. It would be a plus if G Adventures includes more activities such as hiking and get the CEOs involved with the travellers more in these times. Overall, great CEOs, safe trip, amazing ambiance with the whole group,and definitely recommending this tour to friends and family.Show more
