I am looking for a trip to Namibia for myself (fit 56yr old) and possibly my aunt (fit for an 82yr old). We wouldn't recommend participation camping for your aunt. We would suggest looking for our classic trips that do not include camping ( eg staying at lodges)

Yes, but if you need to work during the trip, I would not count on having reliable Wi-Fi or electricity every day. This particular G Adventures trip is a fairly rugged overland camping trip. There is some access to electricity, but it is not available consistently at every campsite.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: Up to 30th day prior to departure: Your 20% non-refundable deposit is saved on your file as Lifetime Deposit towards a future tour. From 2nd day prior to departure up to departure day or in case of no show : 95% of travel fare becomes non-refundable: 75% cancellation fee + 20% Lifetime Deposit.

  Did you just change the concept of the tour? I really wanted to go to Namibia / Cape Town and do this tour on Dec 27th but I see now it's a camping tour???

  This tour has always been a camping trip. For an accommodated option you can try our Cape and Dunes Discoverer or Cape and Namibia Adventure tours which are mostly lodges/guesthouses. Hotel/Guesthouse: 7 nights in standard twin rooms with en suite or shared facilities. Participation Camping: 4 nights are spent in tents in Etosha National Park and Sesriem Area. Tents are twin with shared ablutions.
