Can you tell me what hotel the trip is booked at in Marrakesh so I can stay at the same hotel before hand. I also like to travel a week afterwards to Casa Blanca, Rabat, Fez and Tangier. Do you have any tour information for that?

We stay at Hotel Meriem for the first night of the tour in Marrakesh. If you would like we can book extra nights for you or we will send you contact details of the hotel with a final documentation for the tour closer to the trip's date. Regarding other places you wish to visit I would recommend you to check other our tours to Morocco and Trip Notes for them on our website Explore! Worldwide. I am sure you will find some interesting ideas for your trip.

Do we carry all our things for all the walks? Just so I know what to prepare.

Luggage: On tour. One main piece of baggage and a 20-30 litre day sack is recommended. You will need to carry what you need for the day which may include a raincoat, jumper, camera, sun-cream and water. It is preferable to bring your luggage in soft holdalls rather than a large suitcase - as it is easier to pack them on the vehicles and the mules.

Could you tell me what the 'own room' options are for your Toubkal Climb tour please? Also could you tell me how many people have booked the tour which starts on 3rd September 2022? Is there a max group size? I'm keen to make sure that there will be a good sized group.

The highlight was definitely summit day. It took 9 hours (the itinerary suggested 6!), but some of the group found the steep and rough terrain difficult. There was old compacted snow that we had to cross over steep ground and a lot of scree. I think that the guides were amazing that day and, despite lots of slips and falls, they ensured that everyone got down safely. When the going got tough, everyone in the group helped each other.
