    Asked on September 26th, 2024

I want to go to the Canadian Rockies in the winter but stay at the Fairmont Hotels. I see two tours but the Canadian Rockies does not specify the hotels and it is guided. While the other tour is Rockies by Rail which specifies the Fairmont Hotels but it is not guided. I will be a single traveler. Does the guided tour stay at the Fairmont Hotels? Have not been on a tour without a guide by myself.

I want to pick a tour where there are MANY possibilities to see the northern lights. I know there are not guarantees but at least more opportunities than other tours. I am planning on going in September between 20th and 26th. I forgot to mention that I'm thinking only to travel to Canada or USA not iceland etc.

    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten June 2024

Canadian Rockies & Northern Lights tour will be best for your preference if you do not want to travel to iceland. Unfortunately we do not have departure in the month of September for this. We have more trips where you will get to see northern lights in September however they travel to iceland.
