Only negative was the lack of time to wind down and chill at the accommodation. Most people were too tired to interact in the evening. All a bit rushed. The tour was advertised as “Rockies Premium Tour from Vancouver (34 Seats)”, yet our bus only had 21 seats. This created an inconvenience for the odd passenger who had to sit in the back middle seat without a window view. I wanted to ask what sort of arrangement/configuration in accomodation is available for us as a family. We'd also be interested in doing the additional Glacier tour. Is this the one on the Ice Explorer and is the skywalk available?

Unfortunately, the majority of the hotels accept 4 people maximum in a room. We could split you up in 2 rooms (3 and 2) but in each room an adult needs to be present. I can talk to our team and see if we can get special suites at the hotels, but I am not sure how the rates might look like. The Ice Explorer is a great option. Unfortunately, because of our itinerary, we can only do the Ice Explorer and not the ice walk, but you will still have a great time out there.

We can definitely request the rooms to be as close together as possible, that should not be a problem. I can't guarantee this, but in the past, it has never been an issue. Our itinerary for this tour only allows us to do the Bus portion, not the skywalk.

We are currently still working on the itinerary and its exact timing, but once you are booked in and we are getting closer to the departure date, we will confirm the exact meeting time and location with you. Unfortunately, we are not able to give a discount for starting the tour at a different location/missing the morning portion.

We strongly recommend booking your flights the day after your tour arrives back in Vancouver just in case there are delays that are out of our control, like traffic, which could result in a later arrival time. If we do arrive on time, I don't forsee any issues, but please also take into account that the airport is about a 45-60 minute drive or a 30 minute skytrain ride from our drop off location.
