    Asked on March 26th, 2026

Would you have the same tour without hiking the Inca Trail?

    Tour Details
    • Intrepid TravelOperatorWritten March 2026

Yes, absolutely! This tour can be done without the Inca Trail. There are actually 3 options for this tour, Route 1 being the Inca Trail, Route 2 being the Quarry Trek, and Route 3 being the Cusco Stay. If you do not want any hiking at all, Route 3 will be the option you'd want to choose.

Route 1: 4-day Inca Trail guided trek with porter support and overnight camping
Route 2: 3-day Quarry Trail guided trek with porter support and overnight camping
Route 3: Guided Cusco stay (Machu Picchu access via train option)

These can be seen in the daily itinerary on the webpage starting from Day 12. The options will be shown and then Days 13 - 15 will break down each Route option daily.

When booking, you would just need to let us know your preference and provide passport details as these are needed at the time of booking to secure Machu Picchu entry tickets for whichever Route option you choose (or Inca Trail permits if you did choose Route 1).
